my take on it is that its a good thing to see that SE is continuing to buff the job and most of the arguement here is a boost is a boost and hopefully they continue to buff this job enough for it to compete with others like the rest of the unpopular jobs that could also use a boost.

Has anyone gotten an Economizer? I'm really curious as to its performance to warrant a dark slot and how it performs as a companion or replacemnt for mana converter. Before the update, it was very difficult to get the harleuin frame to convert due to its gap in HP/MP ration. Has this behavior been fixed ? Could the Economizer work with the Harlequin's small mp pool to be a reliable solo-buddy with more punch than ValorWaker?

are these really from The Ashu Talif? Very few have appeared on the AH on Siren. All 4 types haven't been sold yet.

All other members had god gear (4/5 were from my ls) and high end equipment. What I did differently this party and which may explain my subpar damage from my first merit party was that today I WSed every 100% TP. In my first party, I kept waiting till 150-250% before going. Daze continues to be amazing, hitting 450-530 every time with near 100% accuracy. After a few tinks, my RF hovered around 400 non berserked and 600 berserked and minueted. It's nothing impressive compared to the obsene sidewinders and rampages but for a c hand-to -hand job, but being able to contribute good damage in my party is all I want.

Overall, I certainly will not impress people but I can say that it is literally a blast now to merit as PUP and certainly a fun, rewarding experience. I just hope other PUPs feel the same.

Keep in mind that the DvS parce does not track magic damage, so the wyvern is missing all of his WS damage.

And just to reiterate: Caedarva Mire is a level 68-72 xp camp, not a merit camp. Try fighting mobs that aren't T.

According to this parse, the DRG's breath attacks were counted in the skill category. 163 was the wyvern's best.

I was xping w/ this guy at 63 on my war, with a pld tank, who was telling me to get behind the mob so he can sata me.
Theres also a bunch of morons who use Martial Knife, some of which even fucking offhand it.

That's why he gave it such a giant line. You can get thieves that are on par with WAR, or you can get the thieves that are just like the ones you described.

but most people who dont play PUP wont care the least bit until it hits a potential that threatens their own job's standing.

furthermore.. you 're trying to impress people who have big number fetish (already evident in so many sigs... >_>). the only easy respect PUP will probably earn for a while with DDs are the DRG, because they've been fighting this very same stigma for the longest time.. and they arent that bad to begin with...

Sorry to say, but thats just retarded. The place is packed every day with 75s who merit there, that makes it a merit camp. Infact it is quite possibly the most popular and abused merit camp in the game, people DO care about how a job performs there.

Not to say I like the Mire, I really don't, but I find it sad that people are actually sinking this low to discredit any results which may be favorable towards PUP. Either which way, different situations will yeild different results. A competant Ridill WAR or Black Belt MNK will beat anyone in the Thickets, but will more than likely get their ass handed to them by a good RNG in Lufaise.

seriously though, i know some ppl put tons of effort to it, and can be better dd than others (mainly people that can't afford to do better and don't have the merrits) i'm sure ppl like toth and vyz who have the gil and skill can outdmg mediocre war, nin, mnk sometimes. but i mean shit, if it takes that kind of calibur player and effort for ppl like toth and vyz are capable of, to only be able to marinally outparse medicore people, stop lying to yourself that it's good because you can afford to throw gil at it.
