What does all your blabbering about saying it can't happen prove anyways? Nothing..

The screenshot will show 1 axe hit follow by 8 HIT KC hits....no further attacks for me for quite a few lines....based on the TP I got, it seemed like 9 hits in one round to me, but I guess since you guys say it can't happen I was dreaming...

um....because a good portion of monks and thieves will tell you that you cant get 8 hits in an attack round

Asuran Fists will not double attack, unless you happen to miss one of your hits. Why ? Because Asuran is 8 hits, and unless you miss one hit, bringing you to 7, you will never double attack.

Dancing Edge from /nin will NEVER proc a Triple Attack on each hand. Why ? Because Dancing Edge is 5 hits + 1 offhand + 2 Triple Attack from main hand = 8 hits.

The Taru was NIN/DRK with Suppanomimi and Haste so a lot of his attack rounds overlap. It's a lot easier to count the hits on the Mithra THF ... I see a few 8 attack rounds, but nothing above that. It doesn't prove anything, but it also doesn't disprove it either.

Seems like it was made up...

I know kraken alone wont exceed it..
I know asuran fists wont exceed 8.. I am not debating that..

I am saying with dual wield, I got 9 hits..

When you test, put kraken on main hand and a heavy damage weapon offhand. Turn around after the beginning of each combat round so your rounds don't overlap.

It's relatively simple to prove the cap. Just show a case where mainhand kraken hits 8 times, and the offhand never swings.

If it was an overlap as you claim..
I wasn't testing , this just randomly came up.
The 8th hit would have been axe damage,not kraken damage.

Perhaps the difference is whether the kraken is mainhanded or offhanded? This would make the code say "if you've already attacked 8 times, don't swing offhand" rather than "max 8 times". Note: I don't have kraken so therefore am full of shit.

Better yet, test with a stage 1 relic weapon offhand. The massive delay will separate attack rounds easily.

Seems logical I guess...could have been a log fluke as people are suggesting...
But given the very few times a kraken seems to proc 8 hits, could be a while to get definitive proof and unfortunately I don't have the playtime anymore to use on something like this.

Your assuming that the chance of 1hit proc = 2hit proc =3 hit proc = 8 hit proc..

Is that actually the case? I have never tested it, but I don't think it is..

I think 1 and 8 hit procs happen the least...kraken hits seem to like to be in the 4-6 range
