I was told many time it's +2m.def against everything. Don't have whm to test it.
If I get an opportunity in the near future I'll test this. (full barspell merits + body) but I don't have much time to dick around in game anymore so I'm not sure if/when I can do a controlled test.
its only to the same element. Granted I've never actually done any tests, but I've always tried to time bar-spells to the -ga spells etc, and they've always take less damage with the appropriate -ga then a bar of another element. I suppose it could be a coincidence, though.

    Yea, only the appropriate element..
Pretty fun to be WHM with capped bar merits and using blessed body/lvl 3ShellV at a Kirin burn lol.
Stonega IV goes off my pt take like 300-400 dmg and the other pts with lazy or unmerited WHMs get rocked into red HP.
MDB+15 towards an element is pretty helpful.

    Re: Salvage: Zhayolm Remnants

This zone is the worst zone ever for farming 35s :/
My group just got raped in the butt the last 6 times we did this zone aimming for NMs
Either we get earrings but no ranged
    or
    ranged but no earrings
    or
none of either the last six times we done this zone
SE should really expand the drops for earrings and ranged so you don't have to rely so much on pure luck on 5 mobs

always have to plan the group for BCC as we expect to get screwed over
This is all with TH4 too

There's a thread talking about possibly stopping Mortal Revolution from the Arrapago boss, but is it possible to stop Discoid from Zhayolm's??

Last night our group was low on time and only had about 5 minutes left so wanted to play with the boss. We got it to 30% before we timed out but it didn't Discoid once the entire time. Were we just lucky? That's my guess anyway because we didn't do anything different in the ways of positioning.

I hate you with more hatred than anyone has ever hated. We haven't gotten any 35s from Zhayolm in our past... um... 8 runs, in which we hit both frogs every time. Hate. (Actually, I don't even remember the last time my group's gotten a non-Bhaf 35, and we go to salvage daily. I think it may be something like a month and a half ago, now.)

Im not going to hate anyone for getting madame drops till I get to QQ TH numbers (0/400 about now)...

SSs like that and the triple drop before just make me have a little hope inside.

I guess not too bad for very limited situational use, for most situations MNK+NINs I know wouldn't use em though.

I dont know, I would think mnk would get alot out of them, aurik or some other mnk could tell you which would be better for asuran kotes or usukane. Best TP gloves for Mnk/Pup. Great Mnk/nin tanking gloves. 10 acc will give you about the same hit rate increase as dusk gloves for nin with the added defensive bonuses..

With Usu head, Shura Togi, Usu Hands/Feet, and Haidate, you could probably eat meat on some more things as well, seeing as you would have 24 more acc then a normal MNK haste setup.

    Comments from experienced mnks?

I really want them because I think they rock and sold my dusk+1 for aegis funding a while back lol.

I use Usukane hands for TP and Bando Kote for weaponskills.

So a 5% total increase for accuracy (i assume 5% from 10 acc, correct me if im mistaken) isnt better then a 5% increase in attack (assuming attack is around 500+ with a brd) for AF?

I had both Ochimusha and Usukane parsed at Nyzool Ja for ~2 hours each. Ochimusha came out slightly ahead.

They are an awesome solo piece. Good Eva and Subtile Blow and some counter if you get lucky. On top of that ACC. Best solo hands for sure.

For DD I have B and N Kote... but... when your goal is the full set... usukane gote are what you want!
