People used logging out to beat PW so this could possibly be linked to it but I doubt it. I'm sure they known about this by now since it was on the Wiki.

It was brought up weather logging to avoid a 2hr is a legitimate way to kill a mob. SE could have been looking into the code that runs when you log out to stop this method of killing and found a way to stop people from taking the easy way to pop 1st floor frog.

It could also be that they have the time/resources to fix some issues that could not get to before because of higher priority assignments. They are a business and I'm sure they do not want to pay people overtime so things get pushed back.

1F popping trick was known and very public for a long time now. The bannings and this fix are most likely not related.

So what are you supposed to do for 1F now? It seems crazy to expect people to clear a whole wing with nobody using any cells. I figured that the logout trick was how they expected people to manage it.

Ever wonder why there are 18 dusty potions in the mamool zenist chests? Pull > kill > potion > get fresh potion > repeat.

That would be cool, but my guess would be they changed it to either everyone locked or 6 people locked, while the 3-person thing is what they might change it to in a version update or two from now if people complain about how long it takes.

I am not sure whether this has been mentioned before. Our THF pulled the Archaic Chariot and 2 gears followed. As soon as I started casting elegy on one of the Archaic gears, chariot turned and continue to slaughter me and the RDM standing next to me. It lost aggro after both of us fell to ground.

I had some bizare links in SSR remnant the other day. Pulled the chariot on 6th floor after the thief aggroed everything, and 1min later, 4 gears come to rape me and go back to the middle room .

No clue if it's a glitch (doubt so), or if there is some weird shared hate that I don't understand.

I've had an instance like this happen to me before. While we were killing Chariot a couple gears that I guess were near the chariot when we pulled, came to us and continued to kill 4 out of the 6 of us. Luckily enough a MNK and RDM didn't get hate and brought the chariot away.

Dont have to clear 3 pathos by 4th floor. Can just get 3 mp and port up before 30 min mark. Can get the rest of your stat cells off the mamool on 4FN.

Yeah we did that successfully once, but it's pretty rough. Got MNK and THF with relic or we wouldn't have made it to 4th in under 30 mins.

You can also just wait a run to do 4f when you are low on members e.g 3 or 4 ppl that need drop from that frog.

After the update is it possible to go after 5F Madame + 6F Madame + Boss?

Seems like you can only go after 5F + Boss or go after 5F + 6F and EndKey.

You can but it really falls down to "how much time did charm waste".

We typically go 2F (socket) 2F (slot) 3FS (port north) 5FN 6F.
If we have 30-35 min left after killing 6F frog (and a WHM along) we can usually do the boss with time to spare. The mnks 2hr the 6F chariot btw and Penance the crap out of the megaboss. Discoid spam is never fun.

Just like before patch that broke charm, and before the patch that changed requirements, you can still do 4F > 5F > 6F > boss and 5F > 6F > boss. All it requires is practice and repetition.
