Aircommand is now saying due to numerous scattered "unconfirmed" reports of Madame NMs in 4th-6th floors, they wish to start collecting statistics:

4F N, 4F S, 5F N, 5F S, 6F

Report the amount of time it took you to reach the floor, and also the amount of time to reach each previous floor (so like 1F 20m, 2F 10m, 3F 5m).

He seems fairly convinced that this is the condition for all of the Madames, so it's just a matter of nailing down exact times. I would strongly encourage people to go help with testing these theories. Also, I made an error in translation with an earlier article it seems. the Lv. 15 pieces actually drop from the 4F S madame apparently, and the 4F N Madame is thought to drop 35 pieces. My guess is 3 Lv. 15s guaranteed from the 4F S NM, and 2 Lv. 35s each from 4F N, 5F, and 6F.

Where exactly do they pop from these unconfirmed reports?

The 6th floor one supposedly pops right next to the teleporter, meaning that even if you pop it you have to clear all the shit on the floor to open the door to the boss. The other ones I'm not sure. Arrapago NMs always pop right next to the teleporter too, maybe safe to assume the same here? Madames always pop next to teleporter? It seems to be the case on the 3F and the 6F anyway.

I've read most of this thread, and I haven't seen anything about this... but I apologize if I missed it.

My group just went tonite. We barely won with enough time to sort the drops. The biggest problem was the first floor. We split up into two teams. (We don't use modified DATs, so we kill all needed mobs, passing the Mamools.) Some of the mobs seem to 'rage.' I have a few SS from today, and a few from last run too. Normal mobs hit me like 60-90 damage, WS for 100-200. 'Raged' mobs hit me 250-300 (450+ crit) with WS 400-600 damage. It's increadibly hard to deal with that kind of damage, and it resulted in a few deaths. Has anyone else noticed this kind of mob behavior or know how it occurs? I can post SS if it helps.

On the note of the Boss. BCC is definetly the most fun Chariot. It feels like a tough normal-style battle with the challange of time/eq restrictions.

Which article are you talking about? Aircommand has the lvl15 items dropping on the North side. Both here http://f31.aaa.livedoor.jp/~airforce/sal_item_area.html and here http://f31.aaa.livedoor.jp/~airforce/sa ... t_xha.html .

Of course keep in mind I'm using teh Babelfish to do translating. And it says 北 is North and 南 is South.

This is a drawn out message basically describing speculated pop conditions for each of the Madames, and asking for people to post the times they arrived at each floor, and whether or not Madames were up. Here's a non babelfish translation of a small portion:

Ok, I guess the wording in the post I quoted just really threw me off. I guess you were saying you made a mistake translating that the lv. 15 pieces drop from the South. And you were implying that they actually drop from the North instead. But your last sentence contradicts that. ^^;

Anyhow, I'll just go off of the post you just made:
4F N: 3 lvl. 15 pieces
4F S: Unknown lvl. 35 pieces

Assuming the necessary 6 people show up tomorrow night, hopefully I'll have some screenshots of a pretty red frog lady on the 4th floor.

Yea, sorry for the confusion. I guess I read it incorrectly the first time. Current thinking is:

4F N: Lv. 15 x3 (has been reported)
4F S: Lv. 35 x? (pure speculation)

I've been looking for people to try this, but at most I get like 4 people on at once willing to spend the points.

Also, I think that the double North Poroggo suggests that if you warp incorrectly and are still below the needed time, you may be able to get that Madame to pop again.

(I still hiiiiigggghhhhhhlllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy doubt there is a madame in 4th floor south)

This is a report from a LS member who can speak Japanese. His English isn't perfect, but the general message is that 5th floor S NM dropped lv 35 Marduk Body.

when he says "door" it means "Rampart" most of the time (I think).

Although half of PT was destroyed by doors, we killed all doors and started to kill it then
it uses breakga ( stone) , that makes hard to kill but dropped Marduk body 35 finally.

North Side, no Madame pop anywhere. Killed the Third Rampart and hoped if we got sent to the same floor, it'd be up. But we got sent to the fifth floor on that choice and so we didn't have a chance. Didn't see a Madame on the fifth floor either.

We got to the 4th floor in under 30 minutes, so it's some other condition that pops it.

Sounds pretty made up to have someone manage to clear the 3rd floor to get the Poroggo to spawn, kill it, and then have time to kill all the Poroggos and Mamool Jas on the 4th floor, and then have time to kill Ramparts and another Poroggo NM on floor 5 on their very first run. In the event this information is factual then it does tell us a good deal about the 5th floor Madame(s), though doesn't tell us enough as to whether it's a condition players can control or a shittier than Mad Bomber spawn rate.

They reached the 5th floor "in time for it to be up" but not the 4th..?

Although now it seems doubtful that that post is even telling the truth =/

So assuming that normal level 35 gear is a 5~10% drop rate off mobs (such as QQA or QQTH), perhaps the madames are a 5~10% pop rate, with a 100% drop rate? Statistically pretty much the same. Other possibilities could include the popular rediculous theory of day/moon phase.

That theory sounds good to me too. Hasnt every (unconfirmed) report of the Poroggo Madame dropped armor so far?

Also: We beat the boss again this weekend and had enough time to lot the drops this time, hehe. I noticed something very nasty about this boss though. It's been said that Discoid is 4400 (needles) reduced to about 3300 with shell and that held pretty much true UNTIL it reached below 20% where everyone began taking 460ish from Discoid and it also uses it more often below 20%. I forgot to take screenshots of this to total up the damage but it seemed like double damage or ignoring shell. I was taking 26 damage at first with stoneskin on RDM but then I was taking near 200 with stoneskin and I saw everyone that got hit taking 460ish. I think we had about 8 to 10 people getting hit by Discoid.

Don't chariots have a cone damage + dispel move? Perhaps shell was dispelled.
