Salvage: Zhayolm Remnants

My group also skipped 1F Mamools and Gents, 2nd floor Mamools, and 3rd floor Ramparts when going to the 4F N. We didn't cause any Gents to pop on 1F or Mamools on 2F either. So it seems to be more of a time range. Gonna stab someone in the face if it's 30-45 minute range and my group was too fast by 10 seconds.

Skipped as in didn't pop? Or popped but just ignored?

And the 3F Ramparts pop when you get on the floor, but you can run around them and open the door to go up.

I think the under 45 minutes thing just sounds a bit odd. It's likely that anyone who made it in that kind of time probably didn't pop the 3rd floor madame, right? I think it sounds much more likely that not killing something would cause it to pop..

I've still yet to try this zone, something about the time thing just doesn't sound right..

Ok.. today we went on our run to farm for cards and figured a decent thing to test would be to duplicate Suiram's run and make sure it's not just a random pop. I'm not sure exactly how close we duplicated it and this was also our first time doing this zone..

Started on first floor going SE, killed the first room of puks, invis'd past the mamool and killed second room of puks.. Invis'd back past first mamool and headed NE and killed Ziz and invis'd past that mamool as well. Killed all Ziz, except the last room, the first two Ziz dropped 2 magic, so we left the other 2 up and ported. On second floor, even though we got drops we needed from the lizards pretty early, I went ahead and killed all but one lizard to try and keep things similar and ported to floor 3. On floor 3 we killed the 3 rooms full of mamools and skipped the large room with lots of mamools and ported up. The time to the 4th floor was right around 42 min I believe.. Unfortunately had so many things on my mind I forgot to keep track of time exactly, but it was under 45 minutes.

Hardest thing is probably the pull, as was discussed earlier in the topic.. After frog chorus the people frogs seem to be pretty easy to kite and also not sure if this had been mentioned, Porrogo Madame can be slept pretty easily.

Similar to Suiram, it dropped nothing.. We had a thief with Thief's Knife in the kill party.. It did produce a chest..

Is there a 4F N Madame? I've just started investigating this zone and know almost nothing about it atm.. Which have the reported drops been from?

Oh, another thing mentionable.. we pulled one of the Gents and they all linked, including the Madame, causing a wipe. By the time we actually killed the Madame we were about 60-65min in and obviously it had not depopped..

Last, I did parse the run on DVS parse if you want to see any of the info.. not sure if it has times on it though, was lookin for that earlier.

No Madame on the N side. Didn't pop any Gents on 1F, didn't kill any 1F Mamools. Didn't pop any 2nd Floor Mamools.

Pulled the 3rd Rampart which I learned was immune to Thunder and Blizzard magic, but not to Dark or Stone. Didn't try any others, but Stone I would do like 4 damage. Blizzard IV would do 0. Thunder IV would do 0. It sent us back to the same floor. We killed the 3rd Rampart a few more times to test if maybe the Madame would randomly pop when 'entering' the floor. Nothing. Then went on to the 1st Rampart, didn't bother nuking this one since I was on the porter. It sent us to the same floor, and we killed it a few times as well. Then killed the 4th Rampart a couple times and same floor, no Madame. Then killed the 2nd Rampart and went up.

On the 5th Floor we cleared the first room of gears, and the South room of the 3 Ramparts and their Mindgazer reinforcements. Only got chests with various potions in them. After that we timed out.

One other thing to note is, someone did aggro two of the mamools on the 1st floor, but we didn't kill them. I slept and kited while people continued on and we ported up without attacking them. I guess I need to be more clear to people when I say "Everyone bring Prism Powders to invis past the Mamools on the first floor" "We don't want to kill those Mamools, we don't even want to aggro them" That translates into "Try to run around the back of them" -_-;

There's a Madame on the north side that is said to be 100% on 3 different pieces of Lv. 15 gear.

The 4th floor south Madame almost definitely drops Lv. 35 gear

Maybe the South Madame is just a chest? Much like how 3F S is just cells. Perhaps North is where all the armor is at?

Also, in cases where the madame has popped, were any "special mobs" aggro'd (as in you didn't even attack them, but they engaged one of your party members.) Or if they did aggro, did anyone use sleep/whatever on them?

unless im having an early morning brain fart, couldn't someone go into zhayolm alone, dont kill anything and just run straight for 4th floor south to see if madamme is up and test if it is indeed time? (so you dont have to waste an entire run's try)

I don't understand why people are thinking this O.O Is there any situation in all of Salvage where Lv. 35s are 100% drop? As far as we know this thing has only been killed twice, it needs to be killed about 20 times before we decide it doesn't drop anything. North Madame has already been killed, it dropped 3 Lv. 15 armors at the same time. I really don't think it would drop both.

Need 6 people for salvage or it wont let you go in.

Slott: It's been suggested. You need 6-18 to enter. It would be nice to have 6+ people willing to "waste" 2000 AP, though.

Kalia: Just giving ideas. Plus, if these things are confirmed to have annoying pop conditions, it would be nice for the drop rates to be better than other lv. 35 NMs, but then again Bhaflau NMs have rather annoying conditions and drop rates. Also, if 3F S madame is "armorless," it wouldn't surprise me if the same goes for 4/5F S, or at least for 4F S since 4F N supposedly drops lv. 15 armor like 3F N.

I just don't want people to get the wrong idea and stop killing the 4F S Madame, because it's highly likely that it drops Lv. 35 and I really hope it continues to be killed.

Noticed a rather difficult Archaic Chariot on floor 6 as well.. Has this been killed enough times to rule it out for any kind of level 35 drops?

Considering the Chariot has to die to floor up to the boss, I think it's safe to say it's been killed plenty of times and doesn't drop any 35.

The real question is: How many times has the 5th floor chariot been killed? I strongly feel that it might mirror the one in Arrapago Remnants.

Another thing to consider doing. Looking at the .dat file list, there are a number of undiscovered Madames, but the way they are listed at the break between floors leads to disagreement as to which floor a particular instance corresponds to. For example, the first one listed in the .dat files occurs below all of the 1st floor mobs, and above all the 2nd floor mobs. Is this the Socket Madame, or some as-yet-unpopped 1st- or 2nd-floor Madame?

The next time someone pops the socket Madame, or the 3rd or 4th floor Madames, have a RNG widescan and see if it occurs on the widescan list above or below all of the remaining mobs on that floor. Or alternatively if you know how to do this kind of thing (I don't), rename the Madames similar to how divisortheory renamed floor 1 cell mobs, to Poroggo Madame 1 through Poroggo Madame 8.

They occur at the following breaks between floors:
1 > 2 x1
2 > 3 x1
3 > 4 x1
4 > 5 x2
5 > 6 x2
6 > 7 x1

It could be:
1 > 2 x1 = Socket
2 > 3 x1 = 3F N or 3F S
3 > 4 x1 = 3F N or 3F S
4 > 5 x2 = 4F N & 4F S
5 > 6 x2 = 5F N & 5F S

Or did you exclude the socket madame? It's next to Jakko I believe. The fact that 3F N/3F S (if I got it right) are separated is odd, and might indicate that 3F S is the only madame that doesn't drop armor of some kind.

It could be any number of permutations actually. The one next to Jakko is actually the 2nd one listed (2 > 3), which is why 1 > 2 being Socket is suspicious, but if it's not, then what is that one? Here let me write the list a different way:

Madame 1 (1>2): ??
Madame 2 (2>3): ??
Madame 3 (3>4): ??
Madame 4 (4>5): ??
Madame 5 (4>5): ??
Madame 6 (5>6): ??
Madame 7 (5>6): ??
Madame 8 (6>7): ??

Madame 2 is the one that's right below Jakko. Just by popping the ones people already know how to pop, we should be able to fill in 3 or 4 of the above.
