qiqirns drop chests in arrapago
qiqirns drop chests in arrapago
oh, forgot about that. in that case, the answer to docvicious' question is yes.Originally Posted by aurik
Three Madames listed before any of the 4th Floor mobs, all 3 Madames have been located (Socket, 3F South, 3F North). Appears to be that Madames with cells (Socket, 3F South) are listed at the top of the floor while Madames with armor (3F North, all the rest) are listed at the bottom.
What we really need to do is DAT edit every single madame to something unique, then make a run through the floor identifying which is which in the DAT files.Originally Posted by Keider
Every remnant has Socket + Slot NMs next to each other (however, for Arrapago/Bhaflau, they are the last monsters listed in the entire zone it seems). Could the 3F madames possibly count as 1 madame? If so, then there is a good chance there is indeed a 1F or 2F madame that no one has seen.
Wait, below Jakko? In other areas (Arrapago/Bhaflau, at least), the socket NM is above the slot NM, although that could just be because each area has a different socket/slot layout.
Sorta-edit (the majority of this post was typed between divisor's and Suiram's post): I think Keider got it. D: And if it is indeed all mobs on the bottom drop armor, then it would make sense for Socket Madame and Jakko to be separated.
I probably won't do this zone again for a while, but if anyone else does, please do the DAT edit before popping 4F Madame or socket Madame so we can see which one it is in the DATs.
In Silver Sea, Gakke is way way before Don Poroggo, and both are listed last in their respective rooms. There's so many things inconsistent between zones it's usually hard to make a comparison, but each zone seems to have a solid pattern.
And I'd totally do the .DAT editing stuff if I wasn't retarded, last time we tried that it didn't go so well.
lol. well, download this program called UltraEdit. Open up the DAT file in UltraEdit, and it should be trivial to edit them correctly without making any errors. To make sure you didn't make any errors, after editing it, open it with POLUtils. If POLUtils correctly reads it, so can the game.Originally Posted by Keider
I think the Bhoot/Flayer NM drop a chest too.Originally Posted by aurik
Is there any sort of naming scheme one should follow for the name changes? I'm interested in the Marduk body piece, but obviously that won't be possible to get without finding the Lv.35 piece (and the NM that drops it).
My ls will start doing runs for this soon, so lemme know.
they drop Armor and Chests? or just chests allt he time?
The idea behind changing names is just so that when you see one of the Madames, you can uniquely identify it in the DAT files. This way we can determine without question how many Madames are on each floor. For example, is there a Madame on 1F? Most people think no, but since Madames always occur on "floor borders" in the DAT files, it's possible to line up the floor borders so that a Madame is on the first floor.Originally Posted by Linsivi
But, if you change the first Madame in the entire DAT file to something like Poroggo Madame 1, then you pop the socket on 2F and find out that it's Poroggo Madame 1, then you are guaranteed that there's no Madame on the 1st floor. Similarly for higher floors. I would probably just change them to something like Poroggo Madame 1, Poroggo Madame 2, etc in the order that they appear in the DAT files since it's simpler.
Don't have any screenshots since I wasn't on this run, but one of my other LS' teams did zhayolm on saturday night and I just now found out they fought and killed Madame on 5th floor South. It popped in the same room Qiqirn Astrologer pops in from Arrapago. The info I have is somewhat lacking in detail since I don't think anyone on the run even realized what was happening since Muteki was following info from some JP forums he had and expected it to just be up and it was.
They aimed to spend the following time on each floor only to pop the 5th floor South Madame and kill the boss.
15>15>10>10>10>20>20mins
Muteki's english isn't the best but I think I am getting this correct. They would farm mobs on each floor up until the exact window was reached and warp up immediately so they didn't exceed the times listed above. Of course the side effect of those short times is they didnt kill any Frogs on 1st floor or 4th floor. They didn't kill any mamools on 1st floor but did kill some on later floor for HP/MP cells. Madame dropped nothing(big shock) and a chest with lots of meds.
Very nice info. I'd test it but our group is still stuck in Arra for a few more runs (we're going to jump ship at 20 runs, with or without deimos cuirass), but we should see more information soon I suppose.
So either the Lv15's arent 100%, or there's another Madame to be discovered?
Is it possible they ninja'ed the zone? This is bizarre.
all the Lv. 15s have been discovered, and all are 100%. Did you mean Lv. 35s?So either the Lv15's arent 100%, or there's another Madame to be discovered?
Have they all been discovered? I thought Skadi Mask, Usukane Feet and Marduk Legs were still up in the air. Can you share the information about how to pop them and which drops what?Originally Posted by divisortheory
How to pop the NM is up in the air, but they all come from 4th floor N Madame, 100% drop rate.Originally Posted by Mofro
So,
Ares Hands & Morrigan Hands = Poroggo Madame 3F N
Skadi Mask, Usukane Legs & Marduk Legs = Poroggo Madame 4F N
I guess that boils down to:
Runs where you want drops: Go north
Runs where you want to leave emptyhanded because of retarded Salvage drop rates: South is for you
lol
