I'm still betting the drops are 1 of the following patterns:
    Pattern 1:
    -4F S = 1 Drop (Marduk Body?)
    -5F N = 2 Drops (Ares/Morrigan or Skadi/Usukane?)
    -5F S = 2 Drops (Ares/Morrigan or Skadi/Usukane?)
    -6F = 1 Drop (Marduk Head?)
(This pattern obviously mirrors Bhaflau's drops)

    Pattern 2:
    -5F N = 3 Drops (Marduk Body + Ares/Morrigan?)
    -6F = 3 Drops (Marduk Head + Skadi/Usukane?)
(This pattern sorta mirrors Silver Sea's drops in that the NMs drop multiple items, but the first NM drop -1 lv. 15 item)

I doubt non-madames drop stuff. Arrapago/Silver Sea already have their drops not following a clear pattern, Zhayolm/Bhaflau should have their drops in a simpler pattern (Bhaflau - all are reinforcements, Zhayolm - all are madames).

    I'm still banking on 4F S - 2, 5F N/S - 2, and 6F - 2. But guess time will tell.

Doing a Zhayolm run today, 6 melee 6 mages, no BLM. The Madames will go down very fast with 6 melee and we may even be able to get away with no charmga move. I'm just worried we might not be able to hit more than 1 worthy Madame in the run.

My plan right now is 3 melee, 3 mages take 2 separate routes:

Team A) Four inner rooms > Bugard Wing (10 cells) > Ziz Wing to team up with Team B.

Team B) Puk Wing (8 cells, so we sneak invis straight to between the 1st and 2nd rooms in the actual wing) > Raptor Wing (8 cells, same idea) > Ziz Wing to team up with Team A.

By the time Team B gets to the end of the Ziz Wing, Team A should have been able to catch up, I think (if not by the time they start the Ziz Wing? we'll see).

Team A won't sneak or invis except to avoid the Bugard Wing Mamool, until they head back. They'll just kill the entire inner rooms because they die really fast and it takes more effort to sneak/invis past than to just kill them and pass, then the rest of the Bugards except at least 1 (so as not to pop the Poroggo Gent). Team A will have a DAT modded puller so ideally they could get away with leaving 2-4 Bugards up: the 1st room inside the wing, and the last room of the wing should each have 2 left up when they are done. Then they sneak/invis to go back to the Ziz, where they meet up with the other team.

On 3F, we split up again and Team A (BRD puller, WAR NIN MNK RDM WHM) goes East, Team B goes west to kill the first couple rooms for HP/MP/stats, then joins Team A.

Team B was pretty much covered by the summary of what they'll do, 4 mobs in each wing, me pulling with DATs modded. May have to kill 8, depending on links etc.

Anyway, I'm hoping to be just before or on the 40 minute mark when we pop 3F(N) Madame. I outlined it all because I want to know if this sounds feasable or if it'll take far too long to do the first floor. With 6 able DDs, the 2nd floor NE room's 4-7 mobs will take all of 5 minutes max, with someone waiting at porter as soon as #7 dies. I think I'm aiming for 20 minutes on 1F, 5 minutes on 2F, and 20 minutes on 3F to have ported up to 4F(N), where we will assume (and hope) it's the same conditions as 4F(S) in terms of time and stuff before it. I'm also kind of hoping that if it is up, we're able to sac pull and kill it, and get the correct rampart within the 50-55min mark. Would be nice to see the 5F(N) Madame.

    So, feasable? Or unpossibleness?

Just set a hard cutoff of 20 minutes on the first floor. After that, just warp. Also, it would be better to have Team A do Raptors after they finish the Bugard inner room. SJ isn't terribly important, but abilities are.

Well the only problem with the hard cutoff is that since the cells come in chunks (like one type, then another type, etc), we'd be missing a lot of a certain cell, and we don't want to port up in the Bugard wing (since SJ don't matter near as much, I agree). I suppose I could leave someone at the porter in the Ziz wing though. I just want everyone to be unlocked enough to do the third floor in 20 minutes, including the madame. And the fourth floor Madame might not be very fun without SOME MP/HP unlocked.

Well that's why I mentioned completely foregoing the SJ wing. You should easily be able to have the first group clear 8 mobs from the 4 inner rooms then 2-4 mobs on the Raptor wing, while the second group clears 8 mobs total from SE and NE wing in 20 minutes.

Fair enough, 4 subs would probably be enough, for the /NIN people (our NIN isn't getting magic, because he isn't too skilled but he wants to DD instead of coming RDM) to be efficient and survive. However, I was actually more worried about whether 20 minutes would be enough for the 3F East wing team to clear all 32 Mamool Ja (merit style pulling of course), and the Poroggo Madame before it was too late to port up @ 45min mark.

Oh, if you're trying the 3F Madame also then I seriously doubt you'll have time. But that only drops Lv. 15 equip anyway.

Well my goal for the run is to get the 3F madame down, while still seeing the 4F(N) one. We want the Nemain's Gloves or w/e they're called, Morrigan's hand lv15, and I wanna see if the 4F(N) Madame pops the same way as South (I haven't seen any reports recently on it, the 40-45min without triggering Mamools have been 4/4 on South, but what about North?).

I want something to drop this run, since the last 2 runs I've done Zhayolm, testing the 4F(S) Madame thing, and we've seen no drops, not even the Zhayolm Card we're really after, despite killing 20-25 gears each run... No thief though, so maybe today will be better with me on THF.

2/3 of our cards came from Ramparts. 3f, 4f and the 3rd was from a random gear after more or less clearing 5f south.

We haven't killed either of the 3F Ramparts since we first went with 8 and had quite a bad run, since I read most of the info wrong (and one of the labelled maps is horribly wrong for 1F), and we went with 6 the second time with 4F(S) madame in mind, ported up after the three 3F west rooms, minus 1 BST. We're 0/6 on 4F Ramparts and 0/2 on 5F Ramparts. But again, no THF, so that was probably why. Everyone else seems to boast rather common drop rates on the card, getting a few per run it seems when they kill gears.

If I'm not gonna have enough time to clear all those Mamools and do 3F Madame with enough time for 4F window, then I might change it to a full 1F farm to get everyone what they need, the 7 mobs on 1F, then farm 3F HP/MP cells until exactly 40:00 and port up, giving us 15 minutes to kill the 4F(S) madame again and hopefully see the 5F(S) madame, as Lhexh's group did.

What I'm curious about, though, if Lhexh is around or anyone who went with him, is Lhexh said they spent 15 minutes on 2F... Even when we went with 6 and killed the 7 mobs, that took us about 6 minutes, and only because I was trying not to link anything. Did you guys pop any Mamools and kill them? I'm assuming so, which means the 5F Madame may be a totally different condition, or perhaps purely time based?

My card rate isn't all on one run, just to specify. <.< The drop rate here seems worse then other zones (We chucked a ton of SS cards + Arra cards, and dont really kill them in Bhaf).

I dont see how its possible with any strategy to arrive on the 4th floor north at around the 45min mark if you intend to pop the 3rd floor north frog NM and kill it.

To pop that frog, you have to kill 12 mamook in 3 small rooms, and around 20 more in the large room, half of which are blm types which will cast aga3 and tier4 spells. I have full enfeebling merits and was resisted quite often on sleeps and silence on those mobs.

The -aga III get interrupted and the tier IV get shadowed.

I don't see how its possible to kill that many mobs as well as f1 and f2 stuff in that time. I'd love for you to prove me wrong but It does not seem possible in the least.

Well to be fair, the mobs do die really quick. I think the travel time would deter it too much though, so I'd need an extra 10 minutes I think. Well, was worth a thought - I think I'll test it another day and do 4F again today, farm some cards and maybe go for boss if we're feeling brave. <_<

I want to see what drops from those damn Madames (well, what drops from which I mean), and if I have to be the one to test it I will.

Other thing too is the mamook leading to the frog NM do not drop any cells, so you would be trying that with no max hp/mp or stat cells, unless you are going to farm the 3 small rooms on the west path which would eat up more time.

Also in our experience (usually a group of 6), the danger comes from the pull where silence misses, or a link where a few come in and sleep doesnt stick, not from when we are actually fighting them and can blink away tier 4 and interupt aga3.

If you read my full post, you'd see that 6 would go west for the cells, and 6 would go east to start clearing.

Just a Zhayolm 2F NE follow up, Draco Lizards 9, 12, 14, 15 dropped cells again, exact same as last time. Looks as though it's static, not random. Other rooms maybe be the same thing (1, 4, 6, 7) or may not. Will check again soon, going again now.

Edit: Killed 4F(S) Poroggo again, no drop.

Yeah, we did a boss run again today using the same 2nd floor tactic as monday (clear NE, then pull the wyvern/lizard from the other three rooms listed topmost on widescan among the 2-3 that are clustered near the door), which were the correct ones to drop cells again each time.

Also confirmed for the 3rd time that the Zenist on the 4th floor drops 3 HP cells (as well as 3 STRs), so in case you get enough MP but are short a few HPs from the 3rd floor, good to keep in mind.
