How many people have actually killed the 5F Chariot here, anyway? I've seen people talk about the chariot, say it probably doesn't stop stuff, but it might etc, but whose killed it?

We pulled it last night after clearing about half the gears in the room, and only 5:30 left. Ended up at around 15% when we got kicked because @ about 50% one of the remaining gears started to get close, and I figured the others were creeping up too, so I ran them off and stopped DDing the Chariot. Very easy fight with MNK/NIN x2, THF/NIN, RDM, WHM, BRD. Woulda been fine if we didn't have to kill a stupid Slime Mold reinforcements. :/

Another thing I'm confused about, why do people complain about the TP moves that gears do? The gears are very weak, die in 20 seconds or less with 3 decent naked DD, and the only annoying TP move is Antigravity, which does very little damage and gives a weak gravity. Do triple gears do something more than single gears, or just have more HP?

Chariots are also too easy, with only 2 TP moves you know what to expect (positioning away from Diffusion Ray).

Anyway, for our second run last night when we killed Poroggo Madame on 4F(S), we ended up AFKing 5 minutes on the 3rd floor before porting up at 40:02 into the run, because 1F was so quick, 2F was even quicker pulling only the 4 mobs we needed, and 3F we got every relavent stat unlocked for all 6 of us before the end of the third room. Ended up invisibling over and killing the Rampart for fun.

Unfortunately, the Poroggo charmed us about 5 times, since it'd use it just about every other TP move, and Bio wore off a couple times during charm so it Regen'd a little. Next time, we'll HF right off the bat and get some justice in. My goal was to finish the floor in under 15 minutes to hopefully see 5F(S) Madame too. Seems like a very realistic and easy goal if 4F(S) Madame doesn't waste too much of your time.

Got 2 Zhayolm cards we need too, Yay! :D

Next time I do this zone, I'm thinking 8 people, and we'll do 4F(S) Madame, 5F(S) Madame, and kill the 5F Chariot and see what we come up with.

Also, am I encompassing all reports of 4F(S) madame when I say it's 0/5 on drop so far? Or am I missing a few?

I killed the chariot once with no drops of any sort.

Our last Zhaylom run, we went after the 4F south Madame (didn't drop anything besides a chest full of potions), and decided to goof off on 5F when we got there. We cleared the whole south path on 5F including the chariot. Nothing special about him except how frustratingly long he takes to kill.

It seems like there's just a lot of useless stuff in Salvage right now. Things that are designed just to throw us off, or maybe something new will be added to salvage to give them function later on.

Doesn't take any longer to kill than a Rampart reinforcement..

I've never fought the 6th floor chariot, but reinforcements take about 5min to kill with MNK MNK THF, and the chariot woulda taken about 5min to kill if I was able to melee the entire time.

The 6F one is a little harder to kill in my opinion, but at least killing him accomplishes something

Just ran this with RDM, WHM, BLM, WAR/NIN, THF/NIN and SAM/NIN.

The first floor sucked at first without a MNK (obviously lol) but once we got a few weapons it smoothed out. No Mamool killed on the first floor, Mamool not poped on the second. Entered the 4th floor (southern path) during the 40-45 minutes elapsed window and the Madame was up. Killed and with some diffuculty of course no drop other then the chest full of meds... Had some bad luck with the rampart to unlock the porter to the 5th floor and wasted some time there. Cleared all of the gears on the 5th floor (not a single card drop) and got the chariot down to about 80% in the remaining 3 minutes.

If anyone runs this again, try zoning up to the 4th floor at like 39 minutes.

Anyone try zoning to 4th Floor N at 45-50 minutes? Wouldn't be suprised if each Poroggo had its own window, as opposed to a shared window based on floor (which I think has been disproved already).

If anyone runs this again, try zoning up to the 4th floor at like 39 minutes.
Gonna assume this is to get an exact window instead of "probably 40-45," yeah?

    Yea.

Also, I don't recall the 40-45 being disproven on the north. I only recall 30 minutes not working on 4F North.

We're gonna go for Zhayolm boss with 8 or so tomorrow, but we'll probably kill a few of the 2F rooms. I'm not sure how feasible it'd be to fight the boss without Head, Neck, Hands, Legs, Feet. However, according to previous information this may still pop the 5F Madame if we port up between 50-55, so I'm gonna look for that for sure.

The only problem with testing things like porting up at 39 minutes is there's really nothing else to do in the area except the boss, which usually takes more time and rooms on 2nd floor. If we know porting up between 40 and 45 works, why try any different? At least until we figure out what it drops and whether we want to farm it or not.

I suppose a group purely looking for Zhayolm Cards could do it - which in fact might be my group again as we have 5 people that want Morrigan's Robe, and only have 2 Cards. We'll see.

Because the zone isn't really very well understood. What if it's really 35 minutes, and 5th floor is 50-55? Then we might learn that it's much easier to pop 4F and 5F on the same run than we originally thought.

That will, in turn, convince more people to start farming Zhayolm at all since they can do more in the same run, then we'll learn what 4F drops even faster.

Take this as anecdotal because I didn't personally /clock it, but when we did a boss run Thursday we ported up 5th floor south, and someone said "we've been in 54 minutes now". So I asked the RNG to widescan and he said there were no Madames.

What did you do during the run in terms of Mamool Ja, Poroggo Gents, and 2F rooms?

Oh, good point. We killed the 2F NE mamool so we could pull a few mobs from the other rooms for gear.

No Madame on the N side. Didn't pop any Gents on 1F, didn't kill any 1F Mamools. Didn't pop any 2nd Floor Mamools.
From page 21, means either 4N isn't 40-45 or they didn't time it right and actually went in just before 40 minutes (which would confirm the 40- part if someone else got it to pop at 40-45). I'm leaning towards something other than 40-45 myself, probably a later time (45-50 and upwise)

I don't think the southern Madame drops anything of value. Following the pattern from the 3rd floor: The north Madame drops multiple equips, while the south Madame only dropped 5hp/5mp cells.

Anyway, not really much I can contribute atm, finally got my LS back into salvage, but we've been doing only Bhaflau weekly so far and will probably hit up Arrapago after =/

That could theoretically make sense. The 3F(N) Madame drops 2 lv15s, the 4F(N) drops 3 lv15s, and both floors are the "harder" floors of each route. 5F also has triple gears in place of single gears (correct?), although there would be no difference on 6F.

If this is the case, we could be looking at an Arrapago Chariot type drop off each of the following madames: 5F(N) and 6F. 6F is going to be one hell of a pop condition though, considering we still haven't found the QQTHs on 6F in Arrapago.

3 different armors from 5F(N) and 3 different armors from 6F?

The south route does mostly scream "Boss route" to me, especially considering the med options that are given to us. Even the 3F(S) Rampart drops a bunch of meds.
