Would it be possible for the triggers to be based off time spent on each floor individually rather than net time spent in zone? Perhaps that's why people are having conflict with 5th floor poroggo despite times being near.

Will be easy to determine with a few more runs. I'll do a few more killing the 4F and a few more without killing the 4F. If it always pops when not killing the 4F and never pops when killing the 4F, seems like a safe bet that you just have to leave it up. The only other thing I can think of that we did differently when it did not pop is that we killed the Mamool on 2F so that we could access other rooms.Originally Posted by Slott

Gone up at 53 and 54 based on my earlier posts. Didn't kill 4F S Madame either time.
The more I think about it, the more the fact that 4FS and 5FS drop "nothing" is a strong indicator that they do in fact drop lv35 armor.
Why? Well my reasoning is this: 3FN and 4FN drop "nothing but armor" whereas 3SF drops "nothing but cells". Therefore other NMs can drop either cells or gear but not both. So no cells is actually a good sign.
I hope with how easy it is to pop and kill 4FS it's just a matter of time before a drop is confirmed.
The idea that 4F S doesn't drop Lv. 35 armor is, in my mind, about as ridiculous as that original theory that if you upgraded a piece of salvage armor, you were locked into that set until you completed it. I'm definitely gonig to keep killing it every single time I go until I get a drop.Originally Posted by Sady
Just a heads up > Kalia in the 2 5thFS madame kills weve had this week both runs we killed 2nd floor mamool.Bothe runs went like this basically.
Farm first floor for 15 mins > port in NE room
Farm all 4 rooms on 2nd floor obviously not killing all mobs but what we need port @ 30
Farm the mamools on west path die very fast with Mnks full geared port @40
Kill correct rampart (someone sits at port and tests it each time) if killed fast farm mamool havent killed the 4th floor madame we would rather pop and kill 5th floorS then test the if you kill 4th 5th isnt up theory.Port up @ 51:15 both runs and 5th F S Madame was up.Yeah theres 3 ramparts in the room you dont see it on that WS cause the target on scan is overlapping them.Ramparts dont aggro whatsoever so far for us NM is easy the norm charmga crap.
Kill Boss
No drop x 2 from 5FS so far meh
Whoever is keeping time, do they start the clock while still outside of salvage but after the order is given to enter? Or do they start the clock after they enter the zone and are able to move around inside the Remnants?
I'm thinking that most likely it just prevents you from killing both in the same run, but if so that's kinda ghey. I'm gonna kill 4F a few more times anyway just to make sure I'm not messing up the time, and since it most likely drops Lv. 35 anyway not losing out on much.
I highly doubt that killing the 4FS NM totally cock blocks you from killing the 5FS one... With the possible exception of the mysterious 6th floor QQTHs in Arrapago, I can think of no NM on any given path that can not be poped and killed should you chose to kill prior ones.
I think it's much more likely that the window changes from 50-52 to say 53-55 as a guess.
I always start Salvage for my group and I hit the timer as soon as you go into cutscene of the door opening. It's pretty close to the actual Salvage timer this way since the time remaining alerts are usually with 10-15 seconds of my timer.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Hitting the timer as soon as you can move around is about 20 seconds slow of the actual time.
14 people showed up for zhayolm today so we decided to split into 2 groups. one group would try to ignore 4F S and pop 5F S, the other would try to kill 4F S and see if 5F S was up. the 5F Madame group was the one that has popped it twice in a row in the past. Neither group popped the 5F S Madame, but we did learn a few things and i had a new idea.
First: The rampart that unlocks the door might be based on the day of the week that you enter. we arrived on watersday, and second rampart which was immune to water did not work. So we tried first ramprat which was weak to earth and it did work.
Hypothesis: The correct rampart to unlock the door depends on the day of the week you enter, and works like this: First = Fire, Earth, Second = Water, Wind, Third = Ice, Lightning, Fourth = Light, Dark.
the whole day of the week when you enter thing combined with the fact that neither of our groups popped 5F S Madame gave me the idea that perhaps 5F S Madame is up if and only if you arrive at 5F S on the same day of the week that you entered.
each game day is only 55 minutes though, that'd mean you guys would have entered at 0:00 or 1:00 each time you popped it before (and so would the other groups that have done it) seems a bit off.
First question, do you mean you got to that floor on watersday? I assume thats what you meant, or did you mean you entered the first floor on watersday, or was it earthsday then.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Doesnt exactly agree with the findings on the previous page, but... seeing as people might have changed day during the run then these would line up exactly.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Also, Im assuming North and south = work the same?
Did both your groups arrive at the 5th floor at the speculated window? (what are we thinking now? 50-52?) If so, then itd be pretty good proof that 5th floor isnt really time based, not really sure this idea is right though.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Did boss run today with the intent to hit 5F S Madame on the way. We zoned up to 5th floor at exactly 51 mins from zone-in (purposely waited on 4th floor after defeating the correct rampart). I had two timekeepers so I'm positive we weren't too far ahead or behind the mark.
We didn't have a RNG, so I went to check rampart room. No Madame. Unless disturbing the gears forces the Madame to depop, there must be another condition involved.
I'd like to butt in and say that our last Zhayolm Run, First Rampart = Watersday = Unlock portal.
This conflicts with our findings from previous page (we had Second Rampart = Watersday) lending more credibility to the theory that it might be based on either the day you enter Salvage, or the day you port up to 4F. But not the day that you kill the Rampart.Originally Posted by Aemora
well anything that requires any unlocks are generally based on the day you port up, ie: that Appy area w/ elementals on 4th floor.
It's based on the day you've entered salvage. When we were testing it we'd go up the "entry day" rampart we theorized, and it would always take us up 100%. Shame speeding through gave us no froggies though on the 5f N.
Must have been south side / not the day of entry.I'd like to butt in and say that our last Zhayolm Run, First Rampart = Watersday = Unlock portal.
