You'll also notice that the glowing orbs reflect their positions on Alzadaal's map (i.e. Bhaflau is southeast, Nyzul is center). An Astral Plinith is in Nyzul Isle.

There are 5 Candesences, but 6 slots. Not counting the "man-made" Pliniths in Al Zahbi and the Beastmen territories, there should still be one more, the north one, which is the Candesence that is the subject of Besieged I'd guess.
There are indeed six slots, but only five orbs are represented in the glowing area in the door itself. Also the sixth slot does look out of place and could possibly represent something else. Perhaps something do with Odin (if we're still assuming Alzadaal is Alexander) considering we see them depicted together in a mission cutscene.

Think we're starting to stretch it a little bit. It's not completely out of the question, but it's pretty fucking unlikely, especially since there's a ton of more likely stuff that has yet to be tried.

They're all glowing (from what I can tell), suggesting that they're all present in the ruins. The smaller (and thus probably weaker) one is probably Al Zahbi's. If they all correlate to a direction, though, that means a sixth is (or was) somwhere to the north. I could see that being related to Odin.
Which is the candy? The glowing thing in the directional thing or the thing with the 5 circles? If so, Nyzul's is missing, right? So it's safe to assume that that is where Al Zahbi's originated. Or it could be neither...

If we're playing the speculation game, Hazhalm Testing Grounds is north of the Aldazaal Ruins...

Hence why I said "I could see that being related to Odin." Also, demons and stuff are in the Northlands of old. Plus there's the whole Dark Protocrystal/Dark Divinity stuff.

...Are we starting to derail the topic? >_>

Nah, they don't all correlate properly to their location in Alzadaal. Zhayolm's light is shown as NE and Silver Sea's as SW, whereas their actual physical location is the other way around. So guess we can scrap that theory.

It still leaves the 2 "final" areas at the top. (And opposite of their Slot partners, but I doubt that matters. ) <_< >_>

It's doubtful but worth considering that this may be the "final" area of Salvage and they are intended to be done in a certain order...

Seems like a JP group managed to get to the boss, but didn't kill it, and of course aren't 100% sure what was required to unlock the final door.

    http://f31.aaa.livedoor.jp/~airforce/sa ... t_xha.html

Really the only interesting information is on the boss. This one's special move apparently is something like "3000 needles". I hope the range on it is large enough for people to be out of range of other AoEs, but in range of that one, similar to homing missile. Otherwise the fight would be really... interesting.

Can you translate what they did on the 5th and 6th floors?

    A) Did they kill any gears, Ramparts, or Chariots on the 5th floor?
    B) Did they clear the entire floor on the 6th floor, or was it already open?

I can 'translate' it the same way I've been doing. http://babelfish.altavista.com/

There is a door on south, impassable. 7 layer loom where perhaps ahead this the boss is. South east and in Obe house of north west Achaic Rampart 1 body at a time. This door [ calls Greater Manticore ], this suitable is strong. In north section of hall tank NM [ Archaic Chariot ]. When it fishes this, suddenly Archaic Gearsx10 and Archaic Gearsx2 in the whole room POP. Just the tank the pulling っ it is possible by the fact that decoy is used densely to pull out. Loom being open to traffic condition to 7th layer presently is in the midst of investigating, but as for tank NM of 5 layer 6 layer the minimum the pattern which has the necessity to push down. In addition to this, it seems that defeat of door NM of each stratum becomes necessary. Simply, because there is also information that, when all pushing down, at the same time Chariot is pushed down, the door opened Gear and the Gears total 12 bodies which POP are done, it is main point verification.
So... yeah. Best I can figure from that is that they think you need to kill the chariot on both the 5th and the 6th floor to open the door. But that they're unsure of even that much.

That's why I said the information on the boss was more interesting.
BOSS [ Battleclad Chariot ] exists. Use skill ディスコイド front range number of people divided damage? (You should have thought the same as those where needle 3000 has become the front range almost. Approximately 3000 damages are divided at the number of people which are inside the range.) In addition, it is thought that the same tank as the other area WS is used, but present condition obscurity.
Because if it's true, it's something people can already come up with strategies for.

I can't wait for a chariot mega boss that has all 4 special moves.

It sounds like they killed all the gears plus the chariot and ramparts on that floor?

    I'm trying this tomorrow. I plan to kill 2 Chariots and 1 Rampart on the 5th floor, and everything on the 6th floor. Assuming we get that far, since we've never done this zone ; ;

    Roughly translated by a friend:

there's a door at the south so you won't be able to go through. it's probably the 7 Sou Warp area, where the boss is.

there's a small room at southeast and northwest, Archaic Rampart will appear one each. that door will call Greater Manticore which are very strong.

north of the big area there is a Chariot. if you fish it, then Archaic Gears multiply by 10 and Archaic gears appear all over. if you use some magic to change you (sneak?), you can pull the tank without pulling the rest of the monsters.

we are still searching for how to get to the 7 Sou. but it definitely seems like you have to beat the 5th and 6th Sou chariot NM. in addition, you need to break both NM's doors.

yet, someone hash reported that if you beat all 12 gears that pop and the chariot, the door will open. people are still searching to figure it out but it's still not fully determined.
If you are required to kill the Chariots on both floors, that opens up more possibilities regarding strategies for popping the Poroggo Madames on the other floors.

We tried popping the Poroggo Madame on the north side of the 4th Floor by clearing the entire floor, and it did not pop. My other ideas are 1) Poroggo Madame has a chance of popping each time that you are sent back to the beginning of that floor when you choose the wrong Rampart, 2) you must clear the Poroggo Room after getting sent back to the beginning of the room, or 3) (this is the new one) you must kill the 4 Poroggo Gents on the 1st Floor in addition to the clearing the room of Poroggo Gents on the 4th Floor.

Has anyone disproved the "Kill everything in the room" strategy for opening the door, yet? Just kill the gears, chariot, and ramparts next time and see if it works.

The end of that translation suggests that someone says that they did that and it worked to unlock the door; however, they are unable to verify the information for some reason or another.

I still think that is the most likely solution.

On the third floor, is it true that when taking the east/north path, the mamool drop absolutely nothing? The text on the wiki says that is the case, but the picture on the wiki seems to indicate otherwise.

    Yes it is.

Maybe if someone hadn't stolen our pictures and put them on wiki without even asking us, it wouldn't have been a problem.

    And as Tyche edited in:

The following maps are slightly out of date until the original creator (Lokim, Foodmonsters, Carbuncle) updates them.
Lokim is having internet problems and hasn't been able to update them yet.

So for a Mega Boss attempt, it probably makes more sense to take the west/south path and do east/north for farming.

    Bingo!

If for some reason you wanted to go around the North/East path though, you can always farm the first 3 rooms on the South/West then have someone sneak to the teleporter north and port up.
