starting to think 35's from this area aren't even in the game yet, seems like the perfect cockblock from SE to keep people from completing sets for awhile. I would find it funny if after this patch something gets ninja'ed in.

im more betting its like a 1% drop rate, but if you get 1 you get like 3. Maybe the 6th floor madame has a 1% drop rate, and drops all of the 35s!
Just finished a Zhayolm and tested this. Entered on Firesday, went SW on the first floor, cleaned the SW room on the 2nd floor and killed the Spearman but no other Mamool on the floor, killed the First Rampart, arrived at the 5th floor south on Earthsday.Originally Posted by Jaceot

Yeah kind of suspected as much.. It would be nice if I could get my hands on more full mob lists from successful pop runs, including the number of non-cell droppers killed on the first/second floor. I'm going to look over the lists I can find for now and see if anything is buried in there.
Do the 6F gears that pop after chariot is engaged drop a zhayolm card?
All machinery do.Originally Posted by Tyche

We did the sacrifice method of popping, but we stood on the center teleporter which was a bad idea. Should we stand at door instead or in a hallway to ramparts? Also, how does the smn carby pull get screwed up if we were to use that method instead?
You need to kill the chariot plus all of the gears to open the door.
My group always starts off at the very south when the sac puller aggros the chariot. We then work our way north, killing along the way.
Maybe try killing the mobs by the order in which they appear on widescan?
Crazy idea... it could also be calling for help on all the 6th floor mobs ... not like you'd miss out on something important.
Talk about crazy ideas, who actually came up with the pop condition of 3F Bahflau rampart? Killing triple gear on both sides at the same time doesn't sound like something a mere human can come up with XD
Personally I think it's a little unlikely that 6th floor pop is not related to things that have happened on previous floors. Just like 6F QQTHs in Arrapago.
I'm starting to think that 6th floor Madame probably pops if you kill 4th and 5th floor Madames (possibly 3rd floor as well).
The thing is, nobody ever really kills the Ramparts on 6F in Zhayolm, and I'm also starting to think this is a necessary condition and that just like in Arrapago, the madame pops immediately after killing the last rampart. So since Zhayolm has gotten so easy now, if everyone could start killing both ramparts before doign boss it might help to eventually get a madame pop.
I have a new idea that clearing the entire 2nd floor of Zhayolm might force a 5F Madame pop, so I'm going to try it tonight.
I often wondered what the point of call for help in Salvage was... But if a spawn condition were somehow related to the number of "no drop" mobs killed as proposed a short time ago you could perhaps increase that number by CFHing some mobs that might otherwise drop cells.Originally Posted by Francisco II
what? several people predicted (somewhat jokingly) that there'd be a Y/Y pop condition in salvage somewhere.Originally Posted by alphacat
I don't seem to recall that, and I also recall people being pretty surprised when this condition was found out. It wasn't until after this that people started joking about there being *another* Y/Y pop condition somewhere (Zhayolm, and 6F QQTHs).Originally Posted by Amele

which is more or less what I remembered, just not the timing of it. (that he had made the comment after) I do know that there was a lot of speculation surrounding killing the 3-gears on that floor, although I didn't turn up anything about killing them -together-
so I guess the answer to alphacat is: maybe some JP aren't human (or the jp-button still works after all these years)
can the 4FN poroggo madame be carby pulled? i dont see why not, but i wasted 2 runs here already due to bad sac pulls (besides some card farming) and I'd like to get this out of the way. i plan on trying the thf-hide method also, but i just want a fool proof method to get the NM dead quick w/o being mobbed by frogs and see how feasible low-manning the boss is with limited cells from the first 3 floors.
regarding charmga, i assume its best to just have everyone in range and be far enough from the room so that charm wears before we get back to the danger zone (and keep dot on nm)?
Carby pull works only when the monster move before linking back with everything. Since frog are spellcaster, that will cast random stuff from long spell (burst) to short spell (bio), carbuncle pull might [will] fail horribly
Can't you just slap Carby on the mob, take hate, then Retreat Carby. I imagine even the squirrel can outrun Burst.Originally Posted by Kaylia
Yesterday cleared every mob on the second floor except for Slot and Socket, and Madame on 5F S did not pop, however Madame on 4F S was up even though we ported at 47 minutes.
If anyone wanted to conclusively rule out a "specific mob" condition, I think you could easily kill every mob on 1F, every mob on 2F, every mob on a single route of 3F, and every mob on 4F with plenty of time to spare. Especially if you split up on 1F and had 1 or more Ridill WARs.
Also, I tried the magic aggro thing on 6F and whoever said that seems like full of crap or something, because it definitely did not aggro to magic.
