Finnish deathmetal. Frontman Ville Laihiala was also the frontman for Sentenced, another awesome group from Finland that is now disbanded.

Yeah, I dont think its death metal, doesnt have the beat for it. They sound pretty good though, I may have to check them out.

Funny to see this, I just got some of their stuff last night and was listening to it as I browsed this forum. They're definately not death metal though, they are more of a sound simliar to Sentenced, which was a melodic varience of gothic metal band, which isn't a bad thing at all. Sentenced was one of my favourite bands though, so hearing Laihiala take this band in a similar direction is awesome.

Currently indulging in All That Remains. I found myself trying to perfect their song Six on GH2 for about four hours yesterday, and it finally occured to me that I love the band hehe. I got their CD The Fall of Ideals and it's pretty sex.

Unexpect Very progressive death metal, you have to listen to them many times to get the full feeling of their music, each musician is amazingly profficient and talented.

Eternal Tears of Sorrow Melodic Death Metal at its best, if you're a fan of Kalmah, Insomnium, Dark Tranquility, etc, check these guys out.
