ever tried to pop one of those soldier or barbarian drinks? The one that temporay incrase your attack power. It buff my attack to around 600s without any bard song, sexy.
Isn't theres also one that increase the damage for one hit?
I think Demyn actually did pop a Barbarian's drink before he fired off that Sidewinder, and yeah, he was RNG sub..but it wasn't stacked with Flashy Shot, from what he told me today.

I would request that on future runs people try to remember where they got which drinks. It seems to me like it's not entirely random, and that certain chests always contain the same drinks. If we could work it out precisely, it may determine the best route to take for boss clear attempts, as you could focus your path around which drinks you wanted (probably Body Boost, Barbarian, the -Enmity, and Magic Attack Bonus)

Body Boost is good, the rest don't last too long. Only really see it on the first floor.

I see quite a few chests on the 2nd and subsequent floors, actually. How long do the others last?

On one run both our tank got 2 body boost on first floor west side, just within the first 2 room.
On the later run we only found one which our blm hijacked it.

I think the chest on left side seems to have 1 gurannte Milk, 2 dusty potion, and a chance to pop a body boost.

But then again I don't really know much about Chi Blast or Monk in general.
A paralyzed avatar attempting to execute a Bloodpact will not get paralyzed on the attack (it's an avatar's weaponskill). A mob's TP attacks will never be blocked by Paralyze.

However, on the summoner side, Bloodpacts are considered the summoner's JAs, and if the summoner is paralyzed when trying to issue the command, paralyze can block the command and restart the timer.
Hmmm, I swear I remember my BPs always getting screwed up while they were readying them when I was leveling my NPC fellow versus skeletons in Eldieme and MP/distance were not issues... Maybe it was sleep? If avatars are asleep (before the summoner commands the BP) do they still "ready" it but nothing happens?

Yes. They'll charge the attack, but it won't execute, and you won't lose MP (just the timer).

    Same with Stun and Petrify.

Likewise, I've never had an avatar be intimidated by Gration during a BP.

What is also odd, is that I don't recall ever being intimidated myself for issuing the BP command. Afterall, when I tell my avatar to BP, I am directing a JA at Gration, and so should be suspectible to intimidation. But I don't think I ever have been.

I certainly haven't been intimidated by Gration either.

My only guess is that intimidation only occurs on a direct action that has a chance of claiming a mob. You can command a Bloodpact on an unaggro'd monster, but it doesn't turn red until the Bloodpact lands.

Can't be intimidated on Chi Blast, but can be paralyzed.

    There goes that theory then.

Perhaps JAs just can't be intimidated?

I was RNG/WAR I popped a Barb drink, monarch drink, had all stats unlocked except for chr (lol). Zerk, cry, SV 2x minuet, sis kebabi, Kabura and no flashy shot. And I did 1945. The WS most likely crit'd.

Ill try again this thursday and post SS' of my damage.

    Ranged attacks can't be intimidated.

Wanted to point something out. The map I posted pages and pages ago has the wrong pos for the DR. I thought it was painfully obvious but apparently not because people have been sticking it on the wiki and a few posts, so I just wanted to say so explicitly. Someone had pulled the east flan to us in the north room and after we headed east which is why I thought the DR popped east. Now that I've checked my pics though its definately not in the pos i marked on the map. It seems like (from reading others posts and looking at my own game pics) the DR appear in the same rooms as the flans themselves.

Anyways, i found some notes i took some time ago for chest items.

    http://www.imagehosting.com/images.p...floor1copy.jpg

I think I managed to note all the chests we encountered for floor 1. I checked them as soon as I was able but theres always a chance someone may have taken something out before I was able to view the contents. After floor 1 I had magic returned and I had an actual role to fulfill so my note taking tapered off. The only others I noticed were a Champion Drink dropped by a troll on floor 2's NE room, and later floor 3's NE route yielded 3 Barbarian's Drinks (in one chest) and a monarch's drink.

Edit: this is just what I observed on one specific run, so please no one slap it on a website and call it fact seeing as how drops probably vary from run to run.

So any time Dormant Rampart appears on the 2nd floor, it's in the Flan rooms themselves, and will always be encountered BEFORE taking the East or West path? I've never seen the DR on the 2nd floor personally, nor have I spent much time looking for it. But I would assume that this means sometimes I just won't bother to spawn?

I found this about the Dormant Rampart on the second floor. Is there anything in there about a kill-order for the flans to make it pop?
