When I did arrapago, we were getting a lot more magic then we do in Bhaflau, atleast thats what it seemed.

Last Arrapago I ran we got only 2 magic ever despite killing every lamia on the way to the 4th floor

Soulflayers seem to be 100% on both a magic and MP...and if its not 100%, its damn close heh.

was going to try 3rd floor QQTH but the soulflayers werent very friendly so just went up and was going to try 4th floor QQTH but noticed a particularly BIG psychflayer in the room of psycheflayers. So we pulled it and it wiped us lol. Hitting our mnk for about 200-300 with VIT cell and was taking very little physical damage.

hmm... The Japanese site talks about giant ghosts too on fourth floor. Apparently the northern one dropped the Ares Mask.

I'll assume you're talking about the west/south route on the 3rd floor to go after the QTH that supposed to drop ares body ?? When I went there werent any particularly big Soulflayers out, so you probably need to do something to pop them.

Interesting. So most likely some of the armor drops are from Qiqirns, and some are from these larger normal monsters. I doubt all the drops could be from large monsters, because the lack of places larger monsters could be. I think floors 1-3 have been cleared several times and there haven't been any large monster sightings. Since some of the Qiqirns may only drop cells, I guess they needed some extra monsters to drop the lvl35 armor. So maybe a large ghost in the North and a large psycheflayer in the South both drop armor, and 5 of the Qiqirns do. Then again, could be possible that some have multiple lvl35 drops.

Well, it says ghost, and that they also saw a soulflayer that's larger then the others. The Soulflayer didn't drop anything for them, though.

体感ですがアラパゴボスは弱いほうになると思います。

I was actually going to suggest larger enemies dropping armor several pages back, comparing it to Sub Bosses in Besieged (click the link to see what I am speaking of), but I felt like I was going to be ridiculed. Ah well.

Is it possible that some Qiqirn are just the regular monsters?

Perhaps a Qiqirn TH NM, Qiqirn Astro. NM, soulflayer NM, ghost NM, bhoot NM, draugar NM, and a Qutrub NM drop gear? Or maybe just the non-cell Qiqirn and some other NMs, whatever.

Didn't get a screenshot of it but I can assure you it was almost twice the size of a normal psychflayer that came up next to it. We had 10 minutes left when I aggrod it. We got it to 54% but that was b/c our mnk tank used a fanatic's drink, kinda went downhill from there. Maybe if we had a pld tank? Tribulation was pretty nasty too.
