It's difficult to do testing here because so much time is spent on the lower floors just to get the barebone cells (weapons, magic, abilities).

    As far as immediate confirmations:

Somebody go to 4th floor North and see if there is an "Extra Large" Bhoot (Rainbow Ghost) up there. Knowing SE, it'll use an AoE Perdition insta-deathga move.

Confirm full clear of 6th floor to open door to boss floor. It should work similar to Zhayolm.

Other than that, it's a matter of just killing the QQ/Rampart Summoned NMs until something other than Cells drop, to figure out which ones drop what gear.

It would suck if the only way to get Skadi 35 piece was to Steal or Scavenge it. lol

    Especially for BST and COR.

Are we gonna get some SS of these people wearing Lv. 25 Arrapago boss gear soon? If people have been killing it repeatedly now surely we should have some screenshots.
Well, it requires me to actually find them actually wearing it, instead of giving it to the NPC to save inventory space. The group that did it is a JP group, as I explained earlier. So if I somehow manage to overcome the language barrier, convincing them to take the gear out of storage will be the next hard step. Let alone finding the people with them. When I come home from work its also past midnight JP time, so the only time I even have to find them are weekends.

Due to the language barrier, how do you even know they've ever beaten him in the first place? Sure it's easy to know that they do Arrapago all the time, but how do you know they've ever beaten it? It's definitely possible, but I check JP forums too and I just think I would have seen or heard something.

True. I do suppose the guy who told me were either annoyed with me talking over linkshell all the time with my other salvage members about new discovers and theories, or he were were joking when he said he beat the boss with that JP group. Either way, he never said he were kidding, even though we asked him several times if he lied etc. So I suppose it is possible he were joking.

That's not the same person that were in the run when Ares 35 body from Qiqirn Treasure Hunter, btw. Those are 2 different people and different times.

Airforce is now saying the lv35 ares mask drops off the deviate bhoot on the 4th floor, and the lv35 usukane hakama drops off the archaic chariot on the 6th??? floor. There is no chariot on the 6th floor though, but someone did report that a chariot pops somewhere on the 5th floor when the door to the final porter is opened.

It popped in the room next to the final porter, I-8. At the same time I saw the chariot pop, a ranger mentioned that a QQ Astrologer popped in the room just South of the porter room. It may have been up sooner, maybe when we cleared the ramparts, not sure.

I guess he could have meant the Lv. 6 Archaic Rampart also. idk.

It also says Long-Bowed Chariot is on the 7th floor lol, so I'm gonna assume that perhaps floors are correct, but names are incorrect due to some flawed editing process he's using. If that's true, it's probably from an Archaic Rampart.

Perhaps we can do better at guessing where the other drops come from. So far we have:

Ares Cuirass - 3F Qiqirn Treasure Hunter North
Ares Mask - 4F Deviate Bhoot
    Skadi Feet - ???
    Usukane Legs - ?F Archaic ???
    Marduk Hands - ???
    Morrigan Head - ???
    Morrigan Body - ???

I think it's safe to assume one of these drops from the large Soulflayer as well. That leaves 3 mobs left.

    3F Qiqirn Treasure Hunter South
    4F Qiqirn Treasure Hunter North
    4F Qiqirn Treasure Hunter South

    is my guess

Did you try to nail down exact conditions for what causes the door to the final porter was open? Also, did you see the boss?

What about Orobon and the 5f/6f Qiqirns?

    My guess is this:

    QQ 3F -- Ares Body
    QQ 4F -- Morrigan Body??
    QQ 5F -- ???
    QQ 6F -- ???
    Chariot 5F -- Usukane Hakama
    SF 4F -- Morrigan Crown??
    DB 4F -- Ares Mask

6F Qiqirn probably (like every other QQ in the zone) pop when the door to the 7th floor is opened.

I want to run this zone again (and not get screwed on magic again) and pursue these goals:

    1) go south on 3rd floor
    2) kill the large soulflayer on 4F
    3) kill the qiqirn on 4F
    4) kill the qiqirn on 5F
    5) kill the chariot on 5F

Well Sci just said a Chariot popped on 6F after they killed everything, so actually that's looking more likely now.

QQ 3F North -- Ares Body
    QQ 4F South -- ???
    QQ 5F -- ???
    QQ 6F -- ???
    Chariot 6F -- Usukane Hakama
    SF 4F -- ???
    DB 4F -- Ares Mask

Where the ??? are Morrigan Crown, Morrigan Body, Skadi Feet, and Marduk Hands.

Nono, I was confirming it popped on the 5th floor not the 6th. Oops, I guess final porter was misleading. I think I meant to type final door to the porter.

We posted what we did earlier in the thread, but never step by step.

    - Cleared first floor minus the rampart and sabotender.
    - Killed the Lamia in the room we popped into on the 2nd Floor which I think was the SE. Then killed the QQ Astrologer.
    - Went South on the 3rd floor and cleared the entire South room of Psycheflayers and killed the QQ Treasure Hunter (dropped nothing).
    - Skipped most of the 4th floor (didn't know about the large Psycheflayer then), but killed the QQ Treasure Hunter (dropped cells) there as well.
    - Fifth floor we tried holding the ramparts to see if we could get an Orobon. We got a few Devil Mantas and one Pugil I think. The AoEs from the Mantas were pretty painful, but they didn't have much HP. We were running out of time so after we killed the last rampart, someone dashed to the porter and that's when I saw the Chariot up in the room. And at the same time someone mentioned the QQ Astrologer up, but we didn't have the time to fight either. We did aggro the Chariot and fought it for about 10 seconds and at least a ton of gears didn't pop and start raping us.

I'm not sure if a Qiqirn dropping cells means it won't drop armor pieces, but it seems likely. On another run I'm pretty sure we killed the North side Qiqirn on 4F and it gave us cells as well. The only thing I can saw in favor of Arrapago is at least the NMs pop all the time. Even if they are stingy. : (

Well, the 4F S Qiqirn has dropped nothing on multiple occasions. I'm not sure what to make of these Qiqirns TBH, their drop rate is pretty fucking ridiculous to say the least. It should at least be 25% or something.

It could be that of the 2 qiqirns on the floor, one possibly drops armor and one drops cells. And which one you get is random.

    Wouldn't that suck? lol.

for all you know, it is.

Gilgamesh goes 0/22(I think) straight on Hauteclaire (0%), then goes 3 straight (100%). drop %'s can just be streaky.
