Add another no drop to the 2F QQ, 4F South QQ, 5F South QQ, and the 5F South Chariot. Skipping the 3F QQ really gives you a lot of time to do other things. We had 10+ minutes left after all of those as well, but we had really good luck with cell drops most of the run.

I doubt it's true since thus far as a rule nothing drops more than 2 things in Salvage except bosses

Not exactly. In Bhaflau ALL level 15 gear comes from normal mobs (so Bifrons, for example, can drop like 5 things). Likewise in Arrapago, all Lv. 15s come from gears.

The Usukane Legs he said came from a post on a previous BBS, and the Skadi and Marduk he says he got a screenshot from a very trustworthy blog. However, he doesn't seem willing to give out a link to the blog, he seems to indicate he doesn't want to bring the blog's name too much into the spotlight. Take it for what it's worth.

Maybe the cactuar, malboro, and orobon can still drop repeats of other drops, maybe each of the 3 chariot drops or the 3 chariot drops for the cactuar and the bhoot/soulflayer drops for the malboro/orobon. Or something. Or was the idea of Qiqirn drops repeating formed because Qiqirn try to leave?

Also, when you say Lv.15 drops in Bhaflau come from "normal" mobs, do you mean non-NM "Troll Mercenaries" (and thus not archaic machines) enemies? So stuff like Trolls, bifrons, eruca, wamouracampa, scorpions, wamoura, etc? Or do you mean any non-NM/stuff not involved with ramparts?

Everything but the Ramparts and their reinforcements and LBC, including gears, can drop 15 crap.

Anyone else do this zone first when Salvage came out, got some of this crap, and thought it would be the first things we'd end up upgrading when it'll probably be the last?

Old question but:

After doing north a few times it seems most everyone here always goes south when farming for 35 bodies. Was anything confirmed in either direction? It would be very depressing to hear we've been going the wrong way each time. >.>

On L3, the south Treasure Hunter is the one that has been confirmed to drop a L35 piece (or nothing at all when the 35 piece doesn't drop), while the north one does drop cells. On L4, the north Treasure Hunter also drops cells while the south one seems to drop nothing (indicating a possible L35 piece).

There's been a lot of confused reports about these damn Qiqirns though, and not a lot of L35 pieces have dropped, so a lot is still uncertain..

All Treasure Hunters everywhere in the zone drop Morrigan Body, and all Astrologers everywhere in the zone drop Ares Body.

I've gotten cells from both the North and South Treasure Hunters on both the 3rd Floor and 4th Floor. I don't think anyone can say with certainty which drops Morrigan body.

One of my Salvage groups got the Morrigan level 35 body on a 4th floor Qiqirn today (I go with 3 different groups, but did not go today). I'll try to find out if it was North or South.

woot !! finally got a drop, Lv35 Ares Cuirass dropped off the 2F Astrologer today. Now to get 12 imperial wootz ingots. Apparently khroma ores are botted on our server XD

Took like 3-4 hours of me mining to get one ore. I was the only one there mining too To buy everything it comes out to 7,200,000gil on bahamut.

Should yield a better rate of Khroma ores ... unless you get really lucky at mining.

Killed the 5f chariot, no drops. Had no idea where the astra popped so thats why we killed it. >.> We know now but man was it gay and not being done with small numbers again.

After much misery in this damn zone with so many nodrops this was the best damn sight I've seen.
