Got 35 ares today but no Morrigan yet.
1/5 QQA
0/16 QQTH
0/1 Soulflayer
0/1 Chariot
WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Put the THF in the main party. What a freakin huge difference. Killed the 4th and 5th floor Qiqirns and the Chariot.

1/1, I get my boots tomorrow morning.
yay congrats, the chariot is quite decent on drop rates with good TH in it. We are 2/4, other groups are 2/3 1/3 etc, it's not bad at all.Originally Posted by Lindstrom
Really wondering how you glitch that Astrologer, if you could share (even if in PM) that would greatly own since my group designated me as the guy who has to figure out how to glitch them.
We made a discovery of our own that I haven't seen posted here, I spose I can tell you that in exchange >.>
Edit: If anyone cares, we had TH3 on the Chariot, we killed the Rampart before it and got hands cell, only killed that and the Astrologer with TH3.
We've glitched him too. Makes him a lot easier. He just sits at the warp portal and doesn't warp, doesn't attack, and doesn't cast spells. Makes him easier then killing a kitten.Originally Posted by Lindstrom
If I remember right (was some time ago), you just stun him when he first sets foot on the portal <.<;
How about everyone just tell all their discoveries, lol. They usually ban people around here anyway for saying "hay guess what I know a cool secret but I'm not gonna tell anyone"
Well, you know what I mean though; we got that so had high hopes for the runs in general. Since then we've gotten zilch, and when people don't shutup about wanting to run it until they get their third piece for an upgrade (when some people in the group don't have anything because we never run anything else), it's just a big letdown. :/Originally Posted by Lordwafik
EDIT: Had another run last night with no THF and Kae on his brother's RDM; cell drops sucked beyond sucky (thought they started off decent) and everything was kind of a mess. Killed the QQA though, minus glitch, but had no shadows and the QQTH owned us. Gears hit hard too.![]()

They were talking about Gliching the Qiqirn on the porter so all the do is just stand there and take a Beating, kind like the Old AV wall Trick... so its not like a "mystery left to solve" but rather a bug left to exploit...Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Well i really havent seen too many people post on the Boss. I know there are references to the Jps beating him and posting screenshots of their drops on their sites but not here.Lordwafik wrote:

Is there any group that goes for and kills the boss? If so what setup do you guys go with and which way do you travel? Do you have time to farm the 35 bodies?, or do you rush up the floors? I have seen people post that they get the boss to 30% in 5 mins (Kicked out) but what is a reasonable time that you would need to kill?
About 5-6 pages back someone posted a SS of killing the boss.
I honestly don't think you have time to go for NMs, even the Astrologer that's standing right there and only takes a few minutes. My thoughts for a boss run would be that you need to be prepared for both a 35 drops run and a boss run, and if you get fucked on cells on 1F and 2F, do 35s instead of boss. If you are doing good on cells, skip the astrologer and every other NM and go straight for the boss.
With above average cell drops, I got to the top floor with about 10 minutes left. Timed out after killing both ramparts and a few gears. You need to reach the top floor with a minimum of 25 minutes I think to have a chance at the boss. My guess would be something like this:
First Floor: 25 minutes (magic/abil/ranged/weapon/HP/MP)
Second Floor: 35 minutes (weapon/magic/abil/SJ[steal])
Third Floor: 50 minutes (HP/MP/abil/magic/body[steal])
Fourth Floor: 60 minutes (subjob only/body[steal])
Fifth Floor: 70 minutes (subjob only)
Sixth Floor: clear as fast as possible, you can get all your stat cells here, and a little more equipment
Oh well that's happened to us, but it's not like we did anything to make him do it.Originally Posted by Frodorn
Come to think of it, that's happened to us too. We thought we were fucked when the QQA made his way to the teleporter but he just stood there and got ass raped... :wink:Stuff about "glitching" the QQA
Stuff on the 6th floor drops tons of SJ and body armor, and you have to kill it to open the door anyway. My recommendation is to just skip floors 4 and 5 entirely.Originally Posted by divisortheory
If you skip 4 and 5, you could probably get to the 6th floor with 40 minutes left, which would give you a ton of time for the actual boss. I think having lots of SJ is key though, because supposedly his AoE is absorbable.

As I said, SJ/body on floor6 is not really a problem.
