Yeah, I can't remember for sure, but usually, esp if you get a lot of chests, you must yell at melees to take Vicar's Drinks and one should always grab a Cleric's Drink if it pops. I just hate when melees just leave the vicar's because they think they're worthless and then slowly die of Bio/Dia etc. :/

Fixed for what mages I go with will usually do. I make sure to say 'Erase' now. >_>

On a more helpful note, Regen III also helps against the AoE Bio just because of Erase's really long recast.

Double Paeon with Ebony Harp+1 is 14HP/tic recovery isn't it? That's half of the AoE bio damage anyway.

Only meds that remove bio are panacea(sp?) and have fun affording having to use 5-10 per run.

With Ebony Harp +1 mine would do a combined 15 per tick, with Gjallarhorn I get 17, though I think I need to be wearing a couple pieces of skill gear to get over the hump to the extra HP per tick. Still pretty much blows, I wouldn't even bother with the Soulflayers unless it was to get Macha's Crown for someone that already had the 25.

Tribulation is a joke when you have 3 melees whacking away at it, and 3 mages with erase

Just assign 1 person to each melee and it should be cake. Blindna after Bio, because Tribulation's bio is -37hp/tic. If the melee doesn't have HP unlocked, they shouldnt stay in range. If your group doesn't have a BLM or low on stunners, kill it with melee DoT and save WS for Shoulder Tackle. We did this for the bhoot when our BLM was weakened, I was h2h thf basically shoulder tackling any blizzaga3.

Basically use your brains and reflexes and it's not so hard

My LS did it's second run here today and decided to try the boss instead of just farm 35 pieces. Got to the boss with about 12min left, timed about ~50%; was too rushed. We got bad drops at the start, took us ~45min to get off the first floor, not having our first magic drop until 25min into the floor. Killed 2nd, 4th and 5th floor Qiqirns as well. Not a lot of info on the boss, so I'll share my experience:

Mortal Revolution is the boss special, and isn't too bad, it seems, as long as melee have HP. Seemed to hit for 600-900, depending on the person, hit the tank for a little under 400 (he has Aegis, so if it's a magic based attack like I imagine, that helps a lot). As the fight went on and the boss got lower on HP, this move seemed to do more damage. In addition to damage, the move also does AoE knockback (about the same distace as troll knockback move does) and stun.

Unfortunately, getting weapon cells in this area is hit and miss, can't depend on getting them, but we noticed we got quite a few ranged attack on the 6th floor.

Our setup was 13 people, PLD BRD WHM WHM WHM RDM MNK MNK MNK MNK THF RNG RNG

Seems reliable to get a couple ranged on the first floor, we ended up with 4 (more than weapons throughout the entire zone). RNGs seem like a good way to 'double up' on your farming potential, and they seem to be really good on the boss, as they can stay out of AoE range and still deal good damage. HP cells drop on the top floor as well, and between a few bones and the 6th floor, you should be able to get enough HP for your up close melee and your tanks at least.

Will try it again in a couple days, hopefully will have more info then.

To answer some questions from the beginning of this month, Deviate Bhoots on the 4th floor drop Opacus for sure (screenshot) and Perdition cannot be outrun if you start from melee range.

Does the bhoot warp to you when perdition goes off like ectosmash? Because I can get like 10' away at LEAST before the skill "triggers". We haven't missed a stun on it.

Never fought the big ones, but the small ones seem to use Perdition very rarely. In the 4 I've fought, I never saw them use it.

It is indeed extremely rare, I've seen it twice in about 8-10 bhoot fights.

I don't remember the Bhoot warping onto me like Ectosmash. Whatever the distance is from the top of the staircase leading into the bhoots' room to the portal pad where you enter the 4th floor is not far enough to avoid, though.
