30s left, 65% remaining (took 4 mins to take off the first 35%).
We did it for the lulz.

Yea, with the help of 2x100 fists the 5f chariot died in 1 minute flat.
The zone's easy as hell when you actually get cell drops. Too bad we still didn't get armor drops, 2/9 chariot, 1/6 on 4f uber, 0/9004 on QQs.
Yea, we got 0 drops tonight also. I'm thinking about creating a second salvage linkshell so I can start goign 3x a week, lol.
Christ divisor, where do you get all those APs?Originally Posted by divisortheory
If you do and win an Assault every day (or at least use tags when they cap at 4), you can get more than enough to easily do 3 runs a week. Technically if you were really good at some of them (the Qiqirn Mine one in particular), you could go 5 times a week, and that's without the armband.
I particularly enjoy the new one with all the ninjas, it's rather easy and unless someone dc's or something we'll always win and get 1333 points without armband.
I suppose. I've just had a hard time keeping enough points to go ever since nyzul came out.![]()
I'm trying to go 4x a week. Hard to conjur up interest for a 4th night tho. Got 3x a week going starting this sunday.Originally Posted by divisortheory

Hopefully will have a Bhaflau win under our belts soon so maybe that will attract people. Speaking of which, are there any groups here that are specifically salvage-only shells? If so, how do you keep people coming, or how did you when you started up? We always get new members, but they end up showing up for 1-2 runs and leaving. Kinda frustrating when the same 6-7 ppl show up every night and we can't do anything because no one else has.
If the same 6-7 people show up every time, then those are the only 6-7 people you want in your group. I've been building my group based on personal opinions of people in terms of reliability, or similar opinions from my current sky LS leader when nabbing members from my LS. I say no to people who I deem unreliable or untrustworthy. Skill hasn't been my first priority, since I believe in letting everyone have a chance, but I don't let it hinder my run either.Originally Posted by Ryushii
As far as I can tell so far, I have about 10-12 reliables for 3 runs a week. If someone isn't able to make it to a specific run, they've always told me at least a day ahead of time.
One person wanted to join, so I said ok. The next day in the morning they messaged me telling me they might not make it because of a sky event later, depending on what their LS is doing in sky.. that's not the kind of attitude I want so I told them to come back when they actually wanna do Salvage.
Yeah, people skip for the stupidest things. One RNG wouldn't come last night because he insisted on staying for all of some random Dynamis-Windy that he said he didn't even really need. I even told him we really needed him. Other people are always like "oh I didn't know we had a run" when the run times have stayed the same for the past 3 months. I'm so tired of these excuses, but the problem is that we don't have enough dedicated people to do anything yet, so I can't just go around kicking people who aren't totally dedicated.
Just stick with farming lv15 stuff until you can find a few more reliable people. If you can hit 10 reliables with decent job choice, there's really no reason to get anymore people. I haven't done anything but Bhaflau yet, but I've read things, and there's every indication that zones get harder once you break 9-10 people and start trying to gear them up too.Originally Posted by Ryushii
I have 45k points saved up currently, and I had 40k saved up before salvage came out, lol. And that's with going 2-3 times a week ever since it came out. Spamming Defuse the Threat is like 1300 points every time, and I usually do it 4-6 times a week.Originally Posted by Thevaultdweller

I think thats total BS. Having more than 9-10 people is only an impediment if the leader is stupid about item distribution. Every person in the group can do something, and except for like Arrapago, and unless u bring like 18 people, everyone should be able to unlock at least something to make them useful. Even if not, they can at least serve as hi pot bodies or sac pullers or something useful. You just need to know how to effectively use each and every person.Originally Posted by WizerdRemora
Farming 15s is dumb. You can do Arra with 6-8 people easily. Just need the right jobs, though.
Yeah, we have 6 MNKs who never show up...
Arrapago starts getting hard with 12 or more people unless you use very specialized lotting orders. Basically, you need to pick 6 or 7 people and pile every single unlock on those people, and let everyone else in your group just get whatever's left over.Originally Posted by Ryushii
That essentially the strategy for any large group.Originally Posted by divisortheory

I dunno about you guys, but I like to plan my run in advance, not in the 20 minutes while people are gathering. Having random people show up just doesn't cut it for me.Originally Posted by Ryushii
Uh no, having more than 10 people becomes retarded because then you get 12+ half efficient people instead of 8-10 extremely efficient people. Nothing to do with a stupid leader, more to do with a lack of cells and too many people to handle at once.Originally Posted by Ryushii
That actually does have something to do with a stupid leader. Smart leader will still have 8 extremely efficient people, and 4+ ppl with absolutely 0 cells, or left over cells 0 other people need. You can pretend the other 10 people arent even there, just use them on the first floor to farm stuff completely naked, and lot nothing. How does that hurt the group whatsoever?Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Personally I think its a stupid argument because you may as well have 2 runs if you are going to have have 10 extras there to only slightly improve one run, but his point was still correct in its own silly way.
