Salvage: Arrapago Remnants

So farm Skeles for a JA or two, pop a lamia for a ma, then quickly farm Qutrubs for the weapons you need. Hmm.

Ive only really planned on farming this zone for now, as our experiences with it have blown ass. Not really going to make a boss run for it anytime soon. Just wanna find a good strat to equip needed members and farm slot NMs, and at least 2-3 other NMs. 3-4 Armor peices that people need is a good run in my book. Still not entirely sure how someone can time beating this boss properly while being utterly gimped.

Are drops on other floors as equally shitty as first?

skels don't drop JA, that's lamia. There are only 15 lamia on floor 1--8 magic/mp, 7 ranged/ja--and they have only like a 50% drop.

And yea you don't even see a mob that can drop SJ until floor 4.

Speculation was made from the Chariot forum that the boss would be defensive type. I honestly think, Arrapago Remnants Boss will be easier than the one at Zhaylom Remnants. If the theory of killing Chariot on the 5th and 6th floor to open the sealed gate on the 6th floor is true, Arrapago Remnants will be much easier than Zhaylom Remants, because:
1. Zhaylom Remants requires to have sac puller on the 5th floor, one messed up sac pulling will be disastrous. There are a lot of gears that will agro you on the way to the exit, the good thing is the chariot is sitting on the exit.
2. The chariot on the 6th floor will pop 10 gears that will agro link with chariot, so you need another sac pulling for this floor and somehow manage to exit pass through the gears after the chariot is dead.
3. To pop the chariot on the 5th floor on Arrapago is not wasting time because you need to clear the gears as you farm your SJ and the there is not much monster left after you cleared the gears, only 2 Archaic Ramparts.
4. The exit for the 4th floor in Zhaylom is random, if you killed the wrong Rampart, you will be teleported back, and the one at Arrapago is really simple, you can either avoid agro and exit to 5th floor or you can farm the SJ on this floor.
5. Time remaining comparison, both times we only had 12 people. We had 40 minute time remaining on the 4th floor at Arrapago(FYI we killed Princess Pudding other wise we would have more time). We had 30-35 minute left on the 4th floor at Zhaylom. If we got lucky and chose the correct door, we could reach to the top floor with 20 minute left to beat chariot and go up to Zhaylom Boss.(We failed to do so because of slow sac pulling and slow preparation due to 5th floor chariot and ended up linking the whole gears on the 6th floor).

I can see getting to Arrapago Boss is visible with 12 people, while getting to Zhaylom Boss requires more people. If my speculation to get to Arrapago final floor is correct, we might try to do Arrapago Boss if we have 12 people, which is our biggest problem due to lack no. of people.

one of the theory we had for Zhao 's 4 rampart is that rampart 1, 2, 3, 4 is link to which wing you teled up from the first floor. However we failed to put more test to the theory as to one time we got complete no cell drop on floor 3 (We think it was a glitch because SE soon put up an maintance) and everyone was just too pissed off to go back to it.

Nice find if proofed to be truth, going to try to write down which door according which exit we choose. I will try to make a note.

has a couple tier3 drops from this area, but where they dropped from was unnamed. Anyone know where these items dropped from, or are they just speculated drops ?

The drops with an X without a monster name are drops that are speculated based on Aurki's pattern. They haven't been confirmed (although I'd say it is a pretty good bet). IMO, it's pretty confusing like that ... I may go through and edit the drop tables to make the fact that they are speculated more clear (no, I wasn't the one that added it in the first place).

Edit: Nevermind ... they only filled in the locations for 2 sets anyway, so I just removed them. >.>

Figured I'd post here since I don't think it was mentioned here and it's not on Wiki. My group went last night and didn't come up with anything new strategicaally, but we did get Nemain's Slops from a single gear on the 4th floor. It's lvl15 piece for Morrigan's legs. Sorry if this was already posted and I just skimmed over it.

this one isnt added on the Wiki, so I'll do it now.

On the 5th floor we attemptped to clear all the gears (with the time we had left), and ended up with three cards and two 15 Usukane heads out of maybe 7 or 8 gears.

Can anyone confirm this one ??

usukane body is reported to drop from arrapago (princess pudding).. so theory says that head should drop there too... im inclined to believe what Parz said is true

Who got the 15 usk head in Zhayolm? And where? I was of the understanding that very little in the way of armor has been discovered in Zhayolm.

The entire list really just needs to be rebuilt from scratch. There are a few pieces listed there that don't belong, and I can't find any information to correlate those NMs.

I think a lot of it may have come from that Airforce JP salvage site (I'm too lazy to look up the URL) ... but he recently went through and revised all of his lists too.
