I read the airforce website, that Gyroscopic Gears may also pop on the East room.(Slot may pop here as well)
I was just wondering if you can actually pop 2 Gyroscopic Gears. (North & East)
We took the south path, and we didn't even pop the Gyroscopic Gears. It definitely pops in that room, as we have popped it previously after killing all the Archaic Gears. My post was more to confirm that you don't need to kill all the mobs in the room or even pop the NM to unlock the door.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to pop Gyroscopic Gear in the North room followed by Gyroscopic Gears in the East room if that's what you're aiming for. Also, having never seen the slot pop again in the east room, I'm beginning to think I was confused or otherwise mixed up when I reported it popping there. Sykes is probably right that it always pops in the north room.

Also, when we got to the fourth floor, the Archaic Gear train was in the south half. As we were staring at the Archaic Chariot deciding whether we should train that room or attempt to clear it to get to the other side to the train, they came through the room to the North Side and surprised us. I'd suggest anyone who wants to try to take them out to just wait in one of the rooms with crates and keep one person scouting. They can slept pretty reliably with Sleep/Sleepga, and they seem to possibly have at least semi-linked hate.
I just confirmed this on our own. We just did 7 people farming run, and we popped 2 Gyroscopic Gears. The one on the north only 1 gear, the one on the east is 3 clustered gears. I suspect the one on the east drops Lv.35 gear since we got Anu's Hand Lv.15 from the north one and didn't kill the one on the east.

I'm pretty confident now (beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt) that Devilets link to Fomors, and Fomors link to Devilets.

Has anyone tried carby pulls here?

Anybody care to explain the east side to me, so I can put this map on the Wiki? I'll do the other floors later.

    1) Don't need to kill the NM to unlock the door, you just need to pop him
    2) in the end rooms on the west side there's 4 fomor and 4 chests in the same orientation as the centralized rooms.
    3) in the east side, theres a single fomor in the first room, 2 fomor in each other room except the southmost room which has 8. Chests are not pre-popped and appear randomly when fomor are killed.

At least one of the end rooms on the west side had absolutely nothing when I went into it. Are you positive that both rooms had mobs when you went there?

My LS did another run with 11 people while i was at work.
They were doing the same thing as yesterday but this time they brought Zhaylom Card with them.
3rd floor North Room Gyroscopic Gear is 100% pop so far after you clear all the gears in the room. (Anu's Gages 100% so far as well)
Also on 3rd floor North Room, I suspected by killing Devilet will make Slot to pop, we got this twice.(We always kill all of the gears and the gear NM first)
We also killed the one on the East and got Ares Hand.

The Slot NM(Don Porrongo) suspected to have 2 drops everytime it is killed.
Ares Body & Morrigan Body drop from this NM. We only did this once so i can't confirm anything yet.

Since we have a low no. of people atm, we will probably end up doing a few more simple NMs here and there.
If we have enough people we might try to play around at Arrapago Remnants and will try to go for the boss.

Did this zone again today. Took 10: mnk mnk nin rdm brd blu, sam thf rdm blm

Wafik will post about the first floor.

We were targetting popping Chelonian on the 4th floor, so we basically farmed all that we needed on the first 2 floors and then went to the 3rd.

On the 3rd floor, we snuck to the east. Door was locked when we entered the room. We pulled and killed a few gears in the way.

Then, we pulled a door. But it didn't move to us. I seem to recall doors moving to attack in that room before. Instead it stayed inside the room and did nothing, but kept aggro on our puller. When a gear pathed by it, it would link and come attack us

We killed off most of the gears in the room, and then attacked the same door we had pulled before. It had a TON of health compared to what I remember from last time. When we killed it, the door unlocked.

    Thus what I'm hypothesizing:
    - A single Rampart unlocks the door
    - That Rampart has more HP than the other ramparts
    - That Rampart is fixed in place, while the other ramparts can move.

    Anyway, on the fourth floor:

    Sykes' map
    http://www.tarupanic.com/sykes/misc/silversea4.jpg

There are 3 chests in each of the 4 square rooms. Each chest spawns with 1 item. When you take the item, the chest repops with a new item. They will continue to repop for a while, until they run out of items to hold. Was kinda neat.

We were expecting single gears to be roaming around individuals but no...lol...they roam in a line like MG's babies. They ambushed us when we weren't watching and there was a bit of carnage but we managed to take them down.

After the 6x gear died, we sent a scout to the door at the end but it was still locked. The purple notation on the map is wrong, the rooms on the south are devoid of monsters. (Save the roaming 6x gear which presumably roams the entire floor)

We then pulled the entire room of gears except 1 and linked and thus killed off the chariot as well. Once this happened, the door at the end was unlocked. Therefore I think the chariot is the key to the door.

We then killed off the last gear and started on the Ramparts in the room. We killed 2 and pulled the other 2 when we ran out of time. I think in order to pop the rampart and the NM, you need to kill all 4 ramparts--it fits with the theme of the zone, where you kill an imp to pop an imp NM, a fomor to pop a fomor NM, and gears to pop a gear nm.

Next time we will take a few more people, for additional killing power on level 4.

Ares hand? Or Ares lv15 mask? He's confirmed dropping the lv15 mask, but this is the first time I've heard him dropping anything else.

jus did another run of this zone...

we took the west side.. was very hard and we spent the whole time on this floor

setup: whm mnk mnk nin nin thf blm blm whm blu

1 monk died early on without rr , and we didnt get magic till clearing a few rooms to raise him.. anyways

a question about the second to last room... how do most people pull that room? we had to do like 3-4 sac pulls before we killed all the mobs. hammerhead did pop however nothing dropped off him either >_>

anyways i think we'll steer clear from this side and just go East next time

2 sac pulls, pull 2 fomors per time. It's way slower and less lucrative than going east.

Well I know when we went west we got a ton of magic cells early on. Could this be its saving grace, or did we just get extremely lucky?

The "easy" fomors are all completely random. Gotten zero magic before; today we got 1-2 magic before we even got to the harder ones.

I mean when I went west we got tons of magic early on. Sounds like you're talking about going east.

We've gone both west and east. West fucked us with magic the one time we went.
