Wtf kind of rich families do you people have? Extravagant Christmas for me stopped the year I turned 18. Ever since then, it's been gift cards for socks and underwear and gas money.

I got money, gift cards, and a slightly used flat screen monitor because a family member's was replaced for Christmas. I bought myself a video iPod and a new car.

and I think we have a winnar.
I really don't expect all the things I get to add up to more than $150...prolly some clothes, few gift cards, and some random ass thing

Was 15 for me.. I don't think it has to do with the fact that they are well off, but rather that your growing up. My family is, but even so I stopped getting big halls of presents when I started growing up. Meh, Nirokun made me blow a wad of cash on thinkgeek a few nights ago, so I treated myself this year :D

Gaming in 16:10 is freaking awesome, and the 2000:1 contrast ratio is very nice. Even though I picked it out, I'm wishing I had got something with a 3ms or 4ms refresh rate (the L204WT has 5ms), but going that route with a 20" WS would be asking a lot more money

Also got myself a set of Logitech Z-4 speakers a few days ago. This was a present to myself to replace the crappy 9 year old set of Cambridge Soundworks 4.1 speakers I've had forever. Great sound and the bass is nice with 40W RMS total they can fill my living room nicely.
