Don't get me wrong though, i'm still getting a PS3... I just don't think it's worth paying for it right now (especially since I only have a couple of hours a day to play anything, and I do have a 360 and a Wii.)

PS3's main draws are basically the big-time franchises, like MGS DMC and the FFs. Sure, it already has some good exclusive titles, but I don't think it's enough to justify a 600 dollar console.

With that said, the pics look insane, and if the final game looks half as good as these screenshots, imagine what games for the next-gen consoles will look like in a 2-3 year period (just look at how everyone adjusted to the PS2, it didn't look that impressive at the beginning -- even though it still looked superior to the PSX -- and yet, in just a few short years the graphics have improved immensely.)

I have high hopes for the PS3, I just don't think Sony will be able to do anything with them until MGS/FF is released.

It doesn't really matter... if it's not GT, then 360 will eventually get another game that will produce the same graphics. It's not like what they did is impossible to recreate.

What games for the Wii really interest anyone here? Aside from the couple obvious ones.

I see Zelda, Supersmash bros, and Metroid? Other than that I dunno what else I would want for the Wii.

After my own experience using the Wiimote and nunchuku, although unique and interesting, its has really inconsistent controls for many of the games.

I find myself not doing what I want to do half the time(especially wii sports "Golf") and becoming frustrated because I can get better control from a handheld controller.

Yes "Just use a controller then" is a viable answer. But if I was buying a Wii just to use the gamecube controller, I'd buy a gamecube, they have the same graphics.

Its just a small quip, but are there any long-term benefits for the Wii after your 40 hours on zelda, and tendonitis?

I mean none of the graphics make me have to look any closer than a quick glance, and the nunchuku allbeight a unique experience, became very tiresome in a hurry.

Although working the bag in the boxing is a decent workout, if most people wanted a workout, they'd go to the gym.

I can only speak for myself, but I find Wii to be the most entertaining of the three (especially when I have guests over -- for the various party games that are out/will be out.)

If I want to play a shooter, I can go to the 360... if I want an RPG, I get a PS3.

It's just that simple really... sure there are the occasional good games that go under the different consoles, but I still think that for 250 bucks, the Wii is worth having around... even if it is just for Zelda, SSBB, and Metroid.
