Stop downloading off the internet and you wouldn't have that problem.

    http://www.cowonamerica.com/products/iaudio/x5/

    Reasons why this >>>>>>> iShit

    1) Easy to use interface: Theres no software to install to put music on. You plug it into your PC and it reads it like another hard drive, just drag your folders onto it.
    2) Much cheaper: quick search for new 60 gig videos were like 300+, got mine for 220+ S/H on buy.com
    3) Longer battery life: 15+ hours as opposed to my 12ish I got on my ipod
    4) Plays more types of media and can play almost any kind of video (even weird extension ones)
    5) Has voice recorder, line in recorder, photo viewer and (to me) screen is more vibrant.

return your ipod go read the site it goes more in depth as to how it crushes ipods in every way

I bought one of those a year ago. It was awesome, until I accidentally dropped it on its side on my bed. The headphone jack is absolute shit. The headphone jack popped out. I sent it back in for service and (hurray for warranties) got it fixed. Although, now, about 5 months later I can't get it to turn on. :\ Dunno what's wrong with it... haven't dropped it... bah

Dont think so. I was looking at getting one of these instead of an Ipod, but I read through its specs and it only plays a very limited amount of media files. I dont even think it plays .wav files (yea they are huge and probably not much use on portably mp3 player but it stood out for me). I figured I was better off with Ipod since its so widely used and I only hear good things about it from people that own it.

There's a plugin you can use for subbing in stuff onto your ipod from winamp, but it was extremely retarded. (RE: dumping the mp3's into the data section instead of the hidden files required to make them recognized by the ipod )

HOWEVER I found that you could just use manual load into itunes from explorer.

So, other than loading the files, and making certain they have the ID3 tags edited (I found http://www.id3-tagit.de/english/index.htm to be a good batch editor, and free) I still use winamp for playing my music and dump crap to my ipod through itunes. Basically, this is a vote for "God itunes sucks... and QUIT INSTALLING QUICKTIME ON MY SYSTEM YOU BASTARDS!"

meh, same thing. changing filenames and crap through iTunes is retarded, but when I burn new songs from my CDs they're usually good about keeping the tags from whatever EAC uses to get them (forget the name). Something to do while waiting for parties, events, etc.

Nope, not really. My friend has one and I tried helping him out to upload some videos on it a month or so ago. It wouldn't take most file types, and the battery life blew balls. I charged it to full once, left it out over night unplugged and turned off, and by morning half the battery was dead. Plus, the screen is pretty small and not very useful to be watching lengthy videos on.

If you just wanted a music player, I'd recommend something from Creative myself.

itunes is okay, the best part about it, is if your an alcoholic and do alot of power hours(a shot of beer every 60 seconds, doesnt sound like much, but over 2 hours ull be on ur ass)

you can download a prgram called itunes power hour, plays a song for 60 seconds, then changes and in between songs take a shot!

anyway that if you love beer you should try it

I love my Zune, but there are problems, and strengths. Alot of the problems them will be fixed in a few months. At this point unless your very tech savvy I can't recommend the Zune.

Does it have an FM transmitter built in, or do they sell a good one for cheap seperately?

I use Limewire and I have a shortcut to my shared folder on desktop and have to manually force songs into itunes, its gay but better than paying. I still lol hard at people who pay, which reminds me I have a $15 iTune giftcard lol
