UCS-60257 error, EU > NA transition.

Well, an LS member of ours quit a while back, but came on and off just to say hi.

Even though he quit, he let me use his toon to play while he made the monthly payments.

Anyway, nearing Christmas time he went on our forums and talked to me on MSN saying that I can have his account. He didn't want to make monthly payments anymore and since it was now mine I'd need to make the payments.

Tiny.. problem lol(ok, big problem). He's a EU player and i'm in Canada. I tried to change the user information, which I can do except the problem is; there is no option to change regions to Canada. It forces me to pick a state/zip code.

I have heard of people who entered in fake state/zip in the past to bypass this problem except for the fact that I can't enter in my credit card information.

I get a UCS-60257 error after it's entered. It states that server is either busy or information entered is incorrect.

I have tried multiple times, and even 2 different credit cards. So I'm pretty sure server isn't busy and info isn't wrong. The only conclusion I've come to is that because it was registered through EU, it needs a EU credit card #?

Has anyone had this problem in the past? And if so, how did you fix it? Couple LS members have told me to try to d/l a copy of EU POL and then I should be able to change credit card info. If that's the case, can any of you point me to a EU POL link where I can d/l it? Otherwise, do I need to buy/install a NA copy of POL and reregister his toon?(I hope not..)

Still waiting on my friend who gave me the toon to pop up on MSN so I can see if he can fix this for me. Thought I'd ask here first, since it's been a week and he hasn't been on.

You need EU POL for EU account
JP POL for JP Account
NA POL for NA account
To change any billing / other info..

I know this for a fact, cause I recently had to get JP POL to take over a JP account

Maybe it changes server by server, but we always call them toons :x
