Ridill Priority

Nynja is completely right on the point that Ridill doesn't make you god overnight, if you have crap gear you're still going to do crap damage regardless of how many times you swing your sword. Also the difference between axe/ridill and axe/axe really isn't as astronomical as some people make it out to be, about a 15% increase in dps on xp level stuff at most, really not something to make axe/axe WAR a significantly lower tier DD

I'll grant that shit war without ridill is a shit war after ridill, but did you just say that having a 15% lower dps wasn't enough to qualify for being a lower tier DD? Never mind the 50% slower TP gain.

That was in reference to Plow saying that axe/axe WAR was below DDs like NIN & THF in meripo, and get completely raped by mnks, not saying that they aren't a notch below a ridill war.

I probably should've posted this a couple pages ago, but I stopped reading the thread, lol. Anyway, Ridill certainly doesn't break a WAR, even ones with gear/merits to support it. As thief, I have outparsed a war with Ridill who had 8 sword merits and has 3 pieces of HQ hecatomb. My gear is good but it has a number of holes as thf, and since I'm not finished dagger yet...yeah. And then my last party which was on Colibri had me just barely ahead of two WAR's in my LS, who were tanking more (well, the war that did least dmg tanked most, I think I shared tanking with other one...) and I do get dmg bonus on them. I bet both of my LS mates war's could beat that Ridill war, and he even has some support for it. Ridill isn't an instant game break.

Edit: My two LS mates don't have Ridill.

Mugatu is the name, and you can't help but lol at his gear sometimes...his ls got lucky on a faf, first faf claim with gs killing their darter adds they were able to kill faf a couple of mins before rage and got Ridill, went to him being their only sack holder with war leveled, lol. He would be an example of the kinda war that was bad before Ridill and was bad after it..thought lately he has regeared himself a bit better and improved his gear to compliment his Ridill..but gawd, took him forever to do it.

Within this collective group, give it to the person who has the lowest (crap obtained)/(attendance) ratio.

Merits, job, etc... doesn't mean shit. If you need to bully yourself in front of someone else because you have merits or a better job for it, then you and your ls has deeper issues.

Yeah I remember seeing him help nk out with the RPumps nm for some reason. I was add party mostly and he was in kill alliance. When I switched to main alliance I out DDed him with my Axe/Axe setup. Which, at the time, wasn't all that great. Almost there now, I just want a temperance torque. But I don't seem to have an LS anymore...
