The THF's time is as equally valuable as the WAR's, I would imagine.Originally Posted by senoska

If the THF wants a Ridill, and has put more time and energy into trying to get one than a new WAR that just joined, then it is entitled to the THF.
It doesn't make them any less lootwhoreish, though. I would hope that they would at least level WAR to put it to good use.
Speaking of Ridill BST, my LS have 3 BSTs with Adaman Hauberk Ridill Hecatomb Legs god gear including Osode and sky Abjs.
But the three of them have THF and WAR leveled.

I don't care who gets it really, as long as he/she shows up to LS events and raids I'm happy.
A hard working THF > lazy ass fucking WAR, and vice versa<3
Damn, and I would of gotten away with it too if wasn't for those meddling beastmasters and that crab too!Originally Posted by Jhun

SWD Skill caps:
WAR 250
DRK 240
SAM 230
THF 210
RNG 210
THF, SAM and RNG.. it is a toy to play with on occasion... WAR and DRK would both use for merits, while a WAR might be able to play with it at HNM given the proper LS. Honestly, a well geared dual Axe WAR can hold with a ridill, so it isn't thier end all piece. But I just don't see any other job getting as much out of Ridill as WAR.
We give Ridill to WAR onry, I myself am gearing for ATK food and dual axe.. so I don't want it. But it is going to one of our 5 WAR's who do.
Sorry, but no. Not a chance. Take the same WAR, same Merits, same main hand axe, same equipment, and now give one of them a Ridill off hand, and the other keeps the best off hand axe you can think of.Originally Posted by Kingkai

fuck can i have a ridill or something
NO AND NO. I have 75DRK and would never fucking merit with ridill/nin unless it was just to mess around.Originally Posted by Kingkai

I think he meant +48 accuracy from Accuracy Bonus IV [which RNGs get at 70], not by counting gear.Originally Posted by Khamsin

258 is A+++ sword skill?
At best with 8 merits, Fortitude Torque, and Suppa, that's an additional 28 skill. I don't know offhand if there are any other items that give +sword skill.
276 is A+. +28 skill will put 250 sword skill to A+.
RNG cap at 210+28 = 238 skill using your run-of-the-mill Ridill +Sword skill setup, toss in the natural 48 Acc, and you come down to over 286 skill as far as Ridill accuracy goes (I say over, since +Accuracy trumphs +Skill).
286 => A+++
Like I said tho, that's all wordplay - ignoring stuff like the big Atk loss, being able to wear PCC instead, etc.
Even so, with job trait and full +skill gear and merits, they aren't beating a WAR who also has +skill gear and merits. At best, RNG is barely above A+, hardly A+++.Originally Posted by Rishi
