Instead of waiting, we decided to go on the offensive; the best defense is a good offense eh? While Iraq didn't have WMDs, which or intelligence had told they had, everyone knows they certainly had the capability of obtaining them. Without organized leadership and funding from Saddam now, one avenue of obtaining powerful weapons have been quelled. The problem now lies with what to do to the remaining nations that hate us so much they would bomb us within a second. This will be interesting, and probably the plan will not be seen until the next president takes his, or even her(please dear god not hilary), oath.
    did you even read it?
I guess thats just where we differ :D

I believe that the United States has no right whatsoever to start a war on terror. That sort of thing should be done through the united nations.

On this issue, our beleifs fundamentally differ so there is really no point in arguing. We wont change each other's opinions this way

/edit You guys post fst and i have to edit XD. Seriously i think the war in Irak was the worst thing that USA did. And for your post , i read it. But now can you tell me if the situation in irak is better than before? For me it's the same well not really.. it's a civil war , a lot of soldier die there and a lot of irakian.

ps: I think lot of american don't agree with this war.
A lot of American's don't agree with the war because they don't get it. I have no problem with people opposing the war if they actually understand what is was about. But the fucking morons that scream "NO WAR FOR OIL" and "BUSH IS HITLER" are somehow put into the media and the ones aired as the American voice all over the world for this war. The White House is entrusted with protecting the United States, and I clearly think the right intentions were there for Iraq. Unfortunately, the war was not handled how I feel it should have been handled, and that is where I have my problem with Bush and his pussy war tactics. TBH, I don't give a fuck what Americans think because they are not educated enough to make an intelligent decision on most things. That is why we vote for people to make these decisions for us.

The WMD things are preposterous. We SAW him use them during the Iraq-Iran war, so it really doesn't even matter if he had them now. Saying Bush lied is also an ignorant remark, considering he was just acting based on what intelligence told him, not to mention the entire world thought Saddam had them (so how the fuck does that make Bush a Liar?).

The death sentences you spoke of have nothing to do with him. Those are handled purely from state to state, and Bush has no power over them (this is why you don't comment on things you don't know anything about).

Whether Iraq is better off now than before, however, is definitely debatable, although it doesn't really matter now. Either way we MUST get some sort of stability in the region or we risk being seen as the weakling superpower the extremist muslims can walk on. Bush is supposedly changing his policy as we speak, so only time will tell. I have confidence in him.

The United Nations is such a failure. Each country solely acts based on their own self-interest. It is a constant stalemate and NOTHING ever gets done. Think about it, the United Nations basically says "Don't go to war or else we will be forced to...threaten you with sanctions?" Great Fucking policy

He needed a failure to change his policy... Yeah what a great guy. And the stability you talking about i think we'll don't see it till Bush act like this. You have confidence in him? I pray for you RIGHT now. and when you say it doesn't matter i hope you joke, because ppl in Irak don't think like you.

ps: Don't be hypocrite , The stability i think you will never see it if american army stay in Irak.

Truth? No. Opinion. Most people will call you retarded because you can not seem to talk in any way otherwise. Basicly, I mean you can not stop from being bias in this. Any one of your posts prove this. You can not look at both sides. You only look at the most apparent and nothing else.

Caused a Civil War? How so?

How is he directly responsible for that?

Well i have to admit on the thruth part i was a lil fast lol , but on the civil war i don't see how you can call it since there is fight irakian vs irakian police and attack against irakian civil , plus the thing that happened in the jail ( this thing made a lot of problems), irakian police is attacked because they "help" america army . 2000 death in november if i'm right. Just don't over react it's just an opinion. Democraty can you hear me?
edit for minion :I'm from France (yeah i can feel the flames XD) but i live in Golf since 2-3 years.

you know that Bush has esentially quadrupled the national debt of America since he entered office? When Cliton exited office he left with a national debt of $2T(was 4Trillion in 92 so he halved it in his years). But now according to latest statistics it is approx. 8.6T and growing at a rate of $2Billion a day.

and to the above poster who said he had confidence in Bush look at his track record.

Supreme court decided his office not votes. (Gore had won that district but Supreme court decided before recount could be done)
    Failed response to 9/11
Failed response to Hurriance Katrina. He knew the Hurriance was going to hit NO and knew that the livies could essentially break. There is a video of him being advised of this but he ignored the advisor.
Failed Iraqi war and has potentially caused a Civil war. The formor UN leader Kofi Annan stated in an interview that Iraq is worse off now that it was under Saddam.
Loss of majority in congress and in the senate

so what else will happen in the next 2 years?
