Buy a house on the beach, a house on a mountain and a house in NYC. Then I'd give most of it away and invest the rest. Open twin bars on the beach and the mountain and split time depending on the weather.

Oh and I'd buy a GV (Gulfstream V Business Jet) to get back and forth.

Pay off all my debts, my student loans, and any debts owed by my family. Then I'd buy some real estate everywhere, and maybe 5-6 cars. Then move in or closer to my GF and think about marriage. Oh ya, I'd have to buy a huge plot of land and develop a race track.

Pay off my parent's house, then buy them a new house if they so desired to move. Buy them and the middle kid (19 y/o sister) new vehicles, followed by myself (they get to pick, of course). Find a nice apartment to move into back home (HI), not that mine isn't nice, it's just not as roomy as I'd like. Maybe a town house instead, and pay off the leases by the year instead of the month. Pay off my sister's tuition for the rest of her college years.

Visit all the people that I've wanted to for such a long time, and go do the road trips I always talk about wanting to do.

Finally get back working a fun and relaxing job, even if the pay is shit (because if I have all the money I want, the pay doesn't matter as long as I'm having fun). Help my friends out with their financial issues, but not flat out pay for everything like I would for my parents. And finally....just enjoy living with the knowledge that I am financially set until the day I die, and I took care of my family and friends like I always wanted to be able to.

honestly I don't think i'd really do anything with all the money in the world. Having it might be more of a curse than a blessing. Sure i'd like to make sure my mom can live comfortably for the rest of her life but I know she'd hate it to not do anything forever as would I.

As many have said above, pay off all the debts of family & friends. I would also give them a lump some payment of the same amount to do with whatever they choose.

As for my own selfish needs I would fly to Japan. Get a Fleet of Armored trucks carrying my money behind me and head to Shinjuku Bunka Quint bldg. 3-22-7 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Get out and go inside and do as Cletis said in an earlier post, buy Square Enix.

I would pay whatever I had to. Gather everyone in charge of all things FFXI and start to kick some ass. There is an old saying: "We live by the Golden Rule. Those who have the gold make the rules." ~Buzzie Bavasi.

So many things that the gamers have asked for have been ignored and if SE had no restraints such as PS2 limitations to deal with and cost, then I would love to see what could happen.

Hire the largest amount of people ever to Redo the FFXI game engine for PC and next gen systems from the ground up fixing everything broken on FFXI and at the same time bringing it into the present to compete with modern MMORPGs.

Create a real task force to LISTEN to the people on each server and have said task force at camps & trouble spots to see the crap that goes down first hand. So many things could change... /sigh.

Oh, and lastly... Track down the sadistic lobotomized rabid monkeys at Square Enix who were responsible for such things as oh... Promy design and most of the hell that was Chains of Promathia knock them out cold & lock them in a padded room with Celine Dion playing on repeat over a very loud speaker. Their only chance of escape upon waking up will be to find out which one of them has had the key shoved down their throats while unconscious. ( No one really would have a key though.)
