exploiting(?) Golden Salvage assault

They didn't patch the Summoner exploit lol, you can still basically solo it as Summoner.

You actualy can solo it as in get all the points for youself, have the other 2 people in your PT DC while you are on the last menu to enter Assault waiting to click "Yes", then you can enter on your own and get all the points. Other 2 people will still keep their tags.

I thought this was fixed long time ago. You get the same points going in solo, as you go in as 3.

I have my chest dats swapped, and SE did infact fix it in the assault, hell i didnt even know it worked until we got to the last chest and i saw my swapped dat. now they all look like chests.

Yeah, you can do it as any job. I hear it works better with the distance plugin, but I don't use it for it, so you'll have to get someone else to tell you the specifics of how far away you should be for it.

I've been doing this for a while now ^^; If you dont have the Distance plugin (I dont, either) just go selecting the chest and moving at the same time until it gives you the message "You have to move closer". Real easy

Is Spooky's comment true? It's a bit vague when he says you get to keep all the points to yourself if the other two DC. All points like all the points a trio would receive cumulatively? (i.e. 3000+). I am unable to test it but my SMN is currently on its way up, would be intriguing (no Im not leveling it for GS only).

If that's true, you and two of your friends could each make 726,000gil every 4 days (With AH price of Grandiose Chain at 400k) in about 45 minutes' work. Well, until you crashed the market or the GMs noticed you were abusing two exploits for profit and hit you with the banstick. In today's economy, that's as good as it gets.

Steps I took.
1) log on 2 other people
2) do your usual assault mission getting bullshit
3) get to the last screen with my toon
4) game_exit on one toon(windower command that takes your toon to pol)
5) First time I did this, I waited till the toon disappeared before clicking "yes" but that didn't work. So I game_exit then waited till the disconnect icon then clicked "yes"
6) Two people went in, AP gained was 1210 and 1100

FYI, the person that d/c did not lose the assault tag.

Friend of mine, Fitzsimons needed to do one last run and the SMN he was with sucked and died popping a mimic.

This post saved his run and he got his 20K for a P-however you spell it body piece.
