Is that Seiryu's Sword or Ridill? If you're using Seiryu's for the 5 Evasion you should try get one of those new Daggers (Jambiya) made from Khimaira drop because it has 5 Evasion and you'd also have better accuracy+attack with it to hold hate more. If it's Ridill and hitting enough it'd probably get more hate though.

its a dissector i used for spirits within lol
like i said, this was actually one of the worse ones i've done. i've been doing this for over a year and we've beome confident in my ability to tank so sometimes the blms go a bit over board. also, frapsing and taking screenshots while tanking made it more difficult. i've done ones (like earlier that night) where i dont get hit at all, and hold hate through the whole fight so its really just a matter of experience and a little luck

I think I'll keep PLDs and NIN/DRKs tanking to avoid hate placement from being an issue.

I only ridiculed the hate management which from a BLMs perspective is no fun at all when your getting your taru ass slapped around by a God because your tank couldn't hold hate.

One mans fun should not come at the cost of anothers.

I'm merely pointing out theres nothing to boast about since tanking actually requires you to maintain the mobs attention. What the OP did in this video while maybe fun for him, it sure as hell wasn't a very good tanking job.

Interesting, but seems kind of pointless. Are there really any reasons to use over PLD other than you don't need to throw wind?

This is reason enough for me. My ranged accuracy plummets whenever I equip a Zephyr.

i sometimes tank xarc NMs on my DRK/NIN because a NIN gets one shotted or something.

All I could do was stare at that Samurai meleeing in Hachiman Body and not swapping gear for WS.

Same thing here, and I thoroughly lol'd as he swapped in Shinimusha Hara-ate.

the sam that melees in osode and rutters is worse in my book


anyway... this looks like fun but stuff like this is only fun for the person who does it. Especialy as thf "tank" you have like no hate management so all other melees have to do the work for you so you don't loose hate
