    Actually, I put my coffee grounds in the freezer because it keeps it fresh longer.

    Actually it doesn't. If you consider the condensation that is created on the beans/grounds due to the temperature change, it throws off the proportion of water to coffee, plus it throws off the whole chemistry thing of brewing. Try just an air tight, opaque container and it will work much better
