Anyways. I thought the Khimaira set was a slight recoloring (into purplish to match Khimaira), just not an actual redesign like, say, THF AF into Pahluwan or DRK AF into Ares. At least, it looks purple on the icons I've seen.

Technically, yes, there's an Elvaan male in that picture. He's just not cowering in fear of the Elvaan "female", so it's hard to tell.

It's just filler gear for the sword prize! Instead of no loot Tiamat with rare boots, you get Khimaera with filler loot and a rare sword.

Would you rather see nothing in the pool or consolation garbage? I'm still undecided!

Khimaera with is infinitely less WTF than the horror of horrors that is Hydra. Replace Hauteclaire with Sirius Axe and Seveneyes with Berserker Torque and you get the most lonely HNM evar.

Nothing, I let the autoloot abjuration sit in storage and continue to use Ogre >_>

The feet are about the only attractive piece to me of the new set, but still won't likely be worth what they'll cost, especially not in the face of what HQ Ogre gear costs these days.

If this new bison+ gear was for war/drk/bst you might have a point. But it's just bst so there isn't much demand and very few willing to pay high prices. How many Guttlers are there again?

My advice is hold the materials.....don't be stupid and waste them on junk like this that won't sell.

We have seen several more useful recipes for cerb claws for instance and some lol cerb hide ones...and some hydra ones too..these additions were made long after the mobs were introduced

More than likely the value of those mats will sky rocket when something useful is made from them, like hades sainti for instance..

I completely agree with you, but I fear our LS mule's inventory won't last that long.

simpley becaus of how incredible the sword is, this NM will continue to be farmed for quite a long time, I would expect most of the bst jse to become pretty cheap at least until the new recipes are added.

Our LS bank mule was sitting in the neighborhood of like 20 cerb claws until we decided to start selling them after they introduced Hades Sainti.

At least on Asura sell/split for Cerb can be a fairly decent cash turnout once or twice a week, depending on how many of the claims we get.
