I just got mine from a guy who posted on Craigslist for $200...sold out of the back of a car at a mall where there was another Wii...what are the odds this Wii was obtained legitimately? >.>

stupid question...when people are talking about buying different cables for the Wii, are they only for hooking it up to a HDTV?

Component cables let you play the Wii games @ 480p widescreen, instead of 480i... it makes a big difference if you have a big screen HDTV, because the regular composite cables make the games look like crap.

Oh and Po, as far as that Hyrule field thing is concerned, I know what you're talking about... I was in the middle of Poe hunting (no pun intended ), and I was waiting for a Poe to spawn so I could collect it... this Poe was located on a high platform in a random spot in the Hyrule field, and this was right after I hooked up the component cables... all of a sudden you see the sun set, and it was just amazing.

Like I had already stated, this game has tramendous graphics, especially for a GCN game, and I can't wait until a true Wii original Zelda comes out so we can experience Zelda in real "hi-def", as high as the Wii allows it to be anyways.

As far as the game, I personally loved everything that happens after lakebed temple (to sick midna, to visiting the castle, to going to the desert and having the mirror plot twist)... I thought it was very well done. And of course, who can forget the absolutely awesome epic fights with Ganon at the end of the game (I certainly did not expect 4 fights, which was just amazing in my opinion.)

All in all, best game i've played in a long time.

ahh thanks. guess i wont obsess over the cables (when I even find a Wii) until I get a new TV. using some old big ass TV (in a bad way, its litterally got a big fat ass) from the mid 90's

Hah yea, I checked and made sure everything was in the box, the original packaging was still on everything and none of the plastic was ripped on any of the items, so it doesn't seem like its ever been opened or anything.

Oddly, the guy gave me his Wii friend code to meet up with him online, which would seem like something odd to do selling stolen merchandise. He also bitched the whole time about how hard Trauma Center is...

Walmart has a Wii bundle atm. Wii, Memcard (lol) and your choice of 7 games from a list for 638.38+~40S&H+tax. The list of games is rather long. This is the second time I've seen it, last time was on Monday and it was sold out by the end of the day (I got mine before then, still hasn't shipped, though most of the games have XD)

There aren't 7 good games out for the Wii yet... you have a better go at it if you buy the bundle from Gamestop.com (if it's still up) that offered 4 games, but it was their choice (I believe they chose Rayman, Madden, Zelda and Super Monkey Ball, which isn't a bad lineup.)

Long time lurker here that just recently got lucky enough to find a Wii.

This wouldn't suprise me. My friend is driver for UPS and he was telling me they were investigating a few people for 3-4 grand in "missing merchandise". The missing merchandise was a local Gamestop and EB Games shipment of Wii's.


Also for anyone that lives near OC New York, the Harriman EB Games will be getting 10 Wii's this comming Wednesday.
