Nunchuk is the analog stick that connects to the wii remote (which is the main controller... but you need both to play most games, namely zelda...)

You need at least one of each to play everything.

The cable they were talking about is for Hi-def TVs only. So if you have a hi-def TV you may need a cable, same with all systems I believe. As for the Wii controller (Wii-mote) and "nunchuck" The system comes with one controller and nunchuck set. Some games require you to use a nunchuck along with the controllers. If it's only for you then you won't need to buy one, depending on the games you like, you may not need to buy another nunchuck.

For example, Zelda uses the nunchuck to control the character's movement (a directioinal pad) and the wii-mote simply does functions.
If you've ever used the N64 controller it's similiar to seperating the trigger function of the remore and the rest of the buttons.

Example 2, Boxing requires both a Wii-mote and a nunchuck, because it simulates 2 hands of a boxer. If you plan to play 2 people then you will need an extra set of Wii-motes and nunchucks.

Did you post in the wii fren list thread? If not, no one can add you and even though you've added everyone from the list, you'll still not be frens with those you've added unless they add you too.

yes you do need. Otherwise there's no point in adding them.

Just make a friend at a game store, offer them 20 or so dollars if they give you a heads up on a shipment. I know GS and EB know when theyre getting a shipment, so dont believe them if they say they dont know.

We've got a small game store right down the street from my house called Replay games. My sister in law called me a few hours ago and told me she was holding their last Wii under the counter, so I picked mine up tonight. Hotness.

they know when they are shipped, thats about it, theres still about a 4 day period it can come in depending how long UPS takes, and well, saying, "We know we'll get some next week" isn't really any better because, well, we get them basically at that rate normally.

whenever they start shipping them again yea, although interestingly enough our few shipments we've gotten since mid december have all been like, 3 pink ones, 2 pink ones, etc. only gotten 6 since mid december.
