A friend sent me that earlier today; I thought it was kinda interesting. I guess I didn't know how well the DS was really doing before looking at the numbers. And everywhere here is still DS-less. (except for a few pink ones I saw yesterday.. :/) Also, the same issues most have mentioned already: no Wii points (seriously how hard is it to print these?), no wiimotes, no nunchuks, maxed on Wii Play reservations, maxed on Mario Party 8 reservations, no white DS Lites, no onyx DS Lites... but I did find one copy of Wario Ware.. across all of our stores in-town.

I'm well aware.... the point was to point out how sadly behind Nintendo seems to be with supplying anything and everything, which is why I asked afterwards how hard is it to actually print those, not to mention keep stores full of hardware that was released over half a year ago.

They don't need to print them, go buy them from the VC....that's the point.

It's much easier to buy XBLA points from the Marketplace on the 360 than it is finding them in a store...same thing.

does anyone know what the availablity situation is like up in canada? (and if they'll play games designed for US, no idea what the region settings are on the Wii) my folks are trying to enlist family help up north so they can get me one for my Bday

Usually regional format is one of the following:

NTSC U/C
NTSC J
PAL

US and Canada have always been interchangable as far as I know.

Gamestop.com bundles are back, 2 of them now with different games in each... (both got zelda, so take your pick.)

Comes with a 2nd nunchuk/wiimote too, it's a pretty good deal.
