Wii availability

The hype to get a Wii died down for me quickly after Thanksgiving. It was constantly sold out everywhere, and was let down after let down of waiting outside a store at 8am.

So when my dad called me to tell me he found one, I immediately asked him to get it, drove 2 hours to where he lives, and picked it up. Now that I have it, and have beaten Zelda and played Wii Sports everyday...it's totally worth the hype. I love my Wii so much! <3<3

lol, nobody can beat me at Tennis... I pretty much practice it every day, I always piss off my guests when I kick their ass (while they don't even know how you serve the fast ball..)

we got 3 wii's in stock today, and i was kinda hoping to make some people happy. didn't get a single phone call asking if we had them today. sold one to some random kid who i told we had them and he decided to buy. next went to some guy who just came in acting like they arent hard to find and said "i want to buy a wii" and sold it to him, the other still hadnt sold 5hours after getting it. wtf is going on <_<

That's funny...either a lot of people are used to no stores having them and not looking anymore, or the craze is finally starting to die down. I'm gonna go with the former though, I still know quite a few people looking for one...

And by "getting some next week" do you mean 2-3 or so again? or is it actually a solid shipment?

Oh and do all EB/GS get their consoles on the same days? If so, what days do you get the DS's at? Cus i'm getting tired of calling every day asking.

actually, just saturday i got 20+ calls asking about them, and we dont get shipments on saturday, it was wierd, i kept getting asked about ps3's today.

edit: prolly another small shipment of 3 or so, and they can vary a day or two earlier or later, so really no clue when they would get them.

Yeah huh... i'll end up stealing my brother's DS and using it for FF3.

I find it really odd whenever people say they can't find DS Lites. Whenever I go to gamestop/eb they always have alot, and always have a ton of used ones.

I have an old hugeleikxbox DS that I just can't seem to part with for a Lite.

I probably wont get a lite until my regular DS stops working, it may be big, have a matt finish, and be boring old grey but it works great and it plays all the games i want

I think as long as nintendo pushes to get lots of 3rd party development for the DS and the Wii they have a chance of sustaining their sales.
