Any reccommended time to get there? I'm thinking 6AM ish since the target opens at 8
Tomorrow morning Toys R us (in monroe louisianna) are going to have about 30 wii's.
Guess i'm going to get a wii tomorrow (unless there's 30 ppl who beat me)
Wafik, are you permanently in the U.S.?
i wish
Circuit City is getting them tomorrow and handing out Vouchers at 9AM.
Store in my area has 12.
I love you, I'm going to be at my local Circuit City tomorrow at 8am, they told me they have 25.Originally Posted by Grievear
All targets get different amoutns depending on volume. If you get there at 6am you most likely will get them. Our last shipment we had 1-2 leftover after we openedOriginally Posted by kyod
Got to Target around 6:30, no one was standing in line >_>. Around 7, people started getting out of their cars and lining up. At the same time someone came outside and told everyone how many they had. If i knew they were gonna get 96 Wii's i wouldn't have woke up early to stand in line
All in all, i think they only had about 25~30 people who came in early to get Wii's.
grats on getting one atleast!!![]()
Thanks :D Sadly, some mother infront of me bought all the extra Wii' remotes. Guess they didn't have a limit on those.![]()
Went with my uncle to get one for my cousins birthday, and I was planning on picking up a second to have in the bedroom.
We got to target at 6am and the parking lot was pretty packed. Got out and stood in a line that wrapped clear around the side of the store. At 7:30 a store Manager came out in his winter coat and was shaking his head saying we were all crazy. He went to the corner to see both sides of the line and shouted that they got in 54 systems, and 112 Wiimotes. There was a limit of one Wii per person, and two Wiimotes.
When we could see the door another person came out and put a sign up on the side of the entrance on posterboard saying they were sold out.Meh, guess next time we'll go a little earlier. Living in a college town sucks.
Well, there was some people that showed up at like 8:10 that we really pissed off. I guess one of the other Targets in the area had tons of people waiting outside and when 8am rolled around, the manager came outside and told the people that they didn't get any Wii's in. They could have at least put a sign in the door or somethingOriginally Posted by Bethany

And I don't understand how this store could have gotten 96 Wii's but only 5 freakin Wii remotes.![]()
Got to Target at 8:45 and got a Wii for a friend cuz he didn't wanna wake up that early O_O. They were outta remotes tho
Speaking of Wiimotes, anyone know a place to get them online at retail price? Everywhere I've checked (major retailers with a physical presence in the real world) either doesn't list them or is out.
When I went to gamestop earlier in the week, they only had one in stock, which I'm sending back home to my sisters along with the system I picked up for them and Warioware. In this area, there's not likely to be another retailer stocking them, either... any ideas?
GOT A WII
No zelda in any store I checked, all sold out, therefore my wii will stay in the box for a while, lol
Our Target got 40 Wiis, I got their at 6AM with my friend and there were 5 people there already, Target opens at 8. Due to Target being retarded they handed out cards to people waiting at the parking garage entrance instead of the pedestrian entrance, so we got the 15 Wii card to get one. A lady that came to do regular shopping was shocked at the crowd and decided to get one and got card 16.
Picked up Zelda and Warioware. Unfortuantely controllers were sold out everywhere and picked up Elebits from a Gamestop.
You'd be surprised how fun Wii Sports is, Wafik. Play that shit.
And to everyone wanting remotes, order them right from the Nintendo site. I searched for a LEAST a week and a half looking like a total fucking baboon walking into stores and asking for remotes (with the same "ugh, no" answer everytime). Finally I said fuck it, and I ordered them right from Nintendo's store (they're no more expensive on the site) and they arrived in four days. =\ Just do ittttt. The time you waste searching for remotes in the stores will be time you could've already had and enjoyed them if you purchased from the site.
I played it alot when I had my cousin's wii, I WANT ZELDAOriginally Posted by Epical
I gave up trying to find them in stores, so many friends and family need them too, so we've just been ordering them from an online store in California. They seem to be very reliable. Several of my friends and family have received Wiimotes from them as well as myself.Originally Posted by Stromgarde
