I'm guessing Wii's are still a bitch to find in nyc. like a month ago i told my folks thats what i wanted for my bday (on thursday). 2 nights ago they asked if there was anything on my bday list, i again said a Wii, they replied "how about something realistic?"

If you can get to the store near when they get their shipments it should not be that hard nowadays. I've been asking stores what kind of shipments they get in, and they say every week or every other week at the most they get in like 20-40 consoles.

I'd imagine they'd be alot easier to find in NYC, since the shipments in those stores have to be much larger than the ones in smaller areas of the country.

largest shipment i have heard of was 30 consoles a few weeks back. it seems like even stores in big shopping areas have only been getting like a few on average. it would be relatively easy for me to get my hands on one, just sit around a store on a sunday morning or something. i guess i cant expect my folks would do the same, even though i told them it would take some work to find one.

Be glad you're not getting a wii. Just spaz out with your GC controller and it's about the same thing, really; you won't even be able to tell the difference on screen as they both have the same graphics capabilities.
