Wii availability

It is fine, just like the 360 and Wii are fine... Nyko are making these trashy things to try and rip people off.

I had one for the 360, and the only thing it did was make a lot of noise and cause my 360 to go into "teh red circle of doomz"... as soon as i took it off the 360 was fine, so I got rid of it.

I wouldn't pay for another intercooler for any system ever again.

something about that really bugs me. you'd think for the money sony is making people pony up for their system, they'd make sure it has adequate cooling so you dont need to buy an accessory lol

lol, you shouldn't put them in there to begin with, because regardless of whether you have a stupid fan in the back or not, it will still collect dust and will eventually stop working like the PS2.

You should just put your new consoles out and let them breathe, and then they will be fine.

Well some consoles (aka old consoles and nintendo consoles) can be put wherever the fuck you want without overheating. Consoles dont need to be freaking grills to be a good console.

Also there are stories of them overheating up in store displays.

It's just a word of advise anyways... take it for what it's worth. People have complained right and left about the 360 Intercooler, and i'm sure it'll be the exact same with the PS2 and Wii variations of it.

It makes a crapload of noise, and it doesn't really work, and the power outlet doesn't really match, and other weird shit like that.

A friend of mine said it actually fried his 360 to the point where the thing wouldn't work anymore, even if the Intercooler was taken out. It's just not worth it IMO.

PS3 is x10 louder than a 360 with an Intercooler. If I bought a PS3 i'd take the case off and put a liquid coolant tubes in it.

I bought them online...Walmart usually has them in stock on their online site, as does Circuitcity.com and Frys.com

You don't have to camp out in the actual stores for them.

Oh and the Gamestop bundle was actually decent, I only thing I overpaid like $12 because they claimed it was a "heavy package" (10 pounds, give me a break...)

But yeah, as far as everything else the bundle was pretty much a good deal.

I paid around 700 bucks, including the 50 for shipping (which include the extra 12)...:

250 for the system
40 for the extra wiimote
40 for mem card
50x6=300 for the 6 games, and I sold 3 back so 150 really.
and I think it was around 50 for the warranty and the subscription to their stupid game magazine that I just gave away to someone as a present.

Overall it comes to just about the price I had to pay for it. Sounds good to me.

NINJA EDIT: The PS3 bundle Gamestop had a few weeks ago was such a ripoff though... they added game guides and shit and charged like 50 dollars for them... the bundles they have for it now are decent, but still dumb because no one will buy a PS3 bundle when they can just go to any retail store and pay for just the console... and hell, people don't even buy the console by itself. >.>

Not sure if it's been said before, and I can't verify it personally.. but my brother who has a few friends who work at Target (cause he used to work there) said they get their shipments and put them up every Sunday.. atleast that store he used to work at does.

Getting to know the manager is the easiest way to learn about shipping dates.

Just ask for the supervisor or whatever to show up when you see one of the employees, and you start talking to the manager about it, if he's nice enough he'll tell you what you want to know.

A good friend of mine actually manages the EB in my area, so I know when shit comes in for the most part (even he doesn't really know what he gets until the shipment comes in.)

When I picked it, it basically said they have none and they don't know when they will ever get more so if you want to check, come into the store and see for yourself instead of calling. Then it hung up on me.

It was the one on Geary. I have kinda' given up calling any more in the area, I just keep getting the highschool phone-answering bitchy girls that just tell me "no," and leave me with that awkward silence where I just go "um, oookay, thanks anyways.." and they hang up without saying anything. It was a Best Buy on Blossom Hill in San Jose that actually gave me some information so that's my first one I contact each day.

I happened to walk into a gamestop as a nice UPS guy was walking out, saw them opening the packages and out emerged a nice new Wii!

I bought it on the spot along with just about everyone in the store.

Stupid dumb luck ftw?
