Like I say to my friends with -in my opinion- funny accents:
You're putting the emph-AAHH-sis on the wrong syl-AAHH-ble!

I'm probably completely off on this but just my 2 cents. I knew a Candadian chick whos last name was Ouellette. Which was pronounced "wuh let".
So maybe Oubliette could be pronounced "Wub - let" or "Wub - leet" even.

Not in game, but
BRP - Burp
GOD MODE:
Cwn Annwn - Cwn Annwn - FFXIclopedia, the Final Fantasy XI wiki - Characters, items, jobs, and more (Cone Anknown?)
Correct french pronunciation would be
Sha Nwa [Sa 'nwa]
Gere was right to begin with.
Cwn Annwn and Cwn Cyrff... never studied Welsh diction (who has...?) but my guess would be something like
Swin Ahn-win and Swin Surf
Oh and Beadeaux would be
Bed-O [bE 'do]
Simple. "Bea" has the same vowel sound as the english word Bed (called "open" E). eaux (eau, au, aux) is just plain "Oh" (pure vowel, no oU diphthong if you're getting technical xD)
Om'aern: Sultanate of Oman(?)
Ix'aern: Exuberant Ix'aern (* recursive like GNU's Not UN*X)
and,
Kupo: Quepeaux
This makes the AMK a Moogle Quepeaux d'Etats Unix - evil in overdose
sound much more French.
The sea names have always seemed a little odd.
aern = air-n
hpemde = h-pem-de H as in hot? (heard people say pem-de with silent H)
phuabo = fu-way-bo
xzomit = ex-zom-it (heard people say zom-it silent x)
yovra = yov-ra
euvhi = you-vi
ghrah = gir-ah
zdhi = zed-he
And then the prefix on the names. Do people say the letters or try to pronounce the full word (I personally just say the letters):
Om'aern like O-M or Om-aern (like om nom nom)
Ul'aern like U-L or Ul-aern (like you'll)
Ix'aern like I-X or Ix-aern (like sticks)
Eo'aern like E-O or Ee-uh-aern (like eon)
Aw'aern like A-W or Aw-aern (like awe)
Qn'aern like Q-N or Qn-aern (like quin)
Disclaimer: All of this information is second hand! Somebody more learned correct me :V
A friend of mine who's lived in wales explain the w to me as being "something like uo". Y is pronounced (more or less) as u, but c is still c (so Cymru, welsh for wales, is pronounced "cum-ree" though the u has a hint of a at the start.)
Coo-un Annoo-un and Coo-un Curf are how I'd guess they're pronounced.
Here's a tricky one, how do you prounounce:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...aka/Mhaula.png
"muaw har a" i've always said/thought
or "muw whore a"
