Guy Gardner is definitely the best Green Lantern.

I think alot more people would have been receptive to Rayner if it wasn't for the horrible way he was introduced (in the middle of the whole Parallax thing) and basically just shoved into the face of readers after they had been reading Hal for years.

I have a feeling Guy is gonna die somehow... or get the stupid shit beat out of him. Superboy-Prime is gonna be let out, and he will do this deed to Guy, no doubt about it.

This was an interesting thread, I honestly had no clue that comic books were this in-depth at all. I think the last comic I read was a series of Batman vs. Aliens, don't remember what it was called or if it was called that.

well the fight you're busy refering to batman was 70 (as already pointed out by sols) so he's got a long wait ahead of him. by the way did you catch the part were Batman has won 4 out of 5 fights they've had in the books.

Except that batman had nothing to do with their fights timing. Superman was SENT to go after batman at a very inconvienent time.

He also didn't die of a heart attack He had taken a pill that was supposed to fake a Heart Attack so that Superman and the rest of the world would leave him alone while he planned.

It's still one of the single best scenes in comics imo.

It honestly would be kind of interesting where a fight between the two would go now, not so much the Kryptonite thing but more that they made Superman smarter then he has been post Crisis (the 1st one obviously).

Unless I'm mistaken wasn't the ring destroyed by Earth-2 Superman during Infinite Crisis? I don't keep up on DC comics outside of 52 as much as I do with Marvel, so I'm not sure if he's gotten a new one in that time.
