I do home mortgages for people with shitty credit at a company called Aegis Lending. I work out of Minneapolis.
Stressful job, lots of competition, I will be leaving in the summer.

Where I work currently: Law Office of the Public Defender doing paralegal work in the Juvi Dept.

Where I want to work: Law Office of District Attorney as a Deputy D.A. (some day )

I am sure it is a desire by more than just me in this community, but I would love to work for a game publisher, namely EGM or 1up.com doing game reviews/articles, etc as I like them the best. I have no idea where I would start though. Any input?

Here. I'm the the head of the logistics department. aka, i drive a big truck around all day.

Where i want to work. Well, i started out wanting to do be a real estate attorney. I went through the law program at univeristy of louisville. Half way through my major, i didn't find it fun anymore, and now im trying to finish up "secondary education". Really want to teach high school law/history. Dream job...my old high school :D

I refer to my position as "gaijin" (foreigner), because I basically just sit there and eat lunch/talk to the girls that come in about whatever comes to mind, to help them learn (real, natural) English outside of classroom examples. I love my job!

If possible I would love to do something like this for my living, but I'd really be interested in being some sort of political advisor/translator for a politician in a foreign country (Japan, Korea or China).

I work at a commercial bakery in D.C.

basically, we supply a huge number of restaurants in and around the capital -- i don't bake the bread, i do order processing.

in fact, funny story:

a little over 6 months ago, we hired a new employee, who saw some FFXI videos i had downloaded onto the pc harddrive. She asks if I played ffxi, then I asked what server she played on -- turns out the new employee played on bismarck as well, although I didn't know who she was.


EDIT: Where I want to work -- somewhere in management in the NFL, or a professor (i'll settle for teacher @ my highschool), or something in sports, i.e. broadcasting.

I work p/t as a chef for Ruby Tuesday's while I go to school. After I get my degree/or turn 21 im looking for a position in law enforcement.

I work way too many hours for this lovely company, Daly Computers. It seems that here no one is ever quite too sure what's going on, but it's very small (~30 employees) so at least everyone knows who you are.

At the present we are ramping up to stop a large virus outbreak at the Department of Human Resources in MD. Last time this happened it severely cut into my FFXI time

I support people who think their systems can handle video cards. Occasionally we get cool callers who actually know their system and are fun to talk to. Usually it's people wondering why their Dell PC can't handle a 6800 GT OC.

2 extremes:

1) I have dis 'ere com-pu-tor 'an ah can't make it video to mah mon-i-tour.

2) I have Quad-SLI dual-core system with a 2kilowatt power supply running 2x4drive RAID systems and I'm only getting 87 frames per second in my favorite game and my friend with the same card is getting 92 frames per second do you think one of my cards is defective? Why isn't my penis bigger than his?

I must say having Cassi aim me from work is quite entertaining.

I currently work at a Best Buy. Its not really that bad. Its better then most retail jobs and hell the discount is pretty sweet.
