reclaiming a banned account

Recently I've been feeling the urge to return to FFXI since WoW is... well... boring. Back in October when SE did a mass ban I was one of the victims. Im pretty sure my ban was a mistake, since I dont recall doing anything illegal...

My question is did anyone else get banned without an explanation, and is it possible to retrieve an account (I was told sending a letter not an email was the best way to get my problem resolved.) I had a letter typed up in October but stopped caring about this game due to the realization that it had shitty customer service.

no, once they close it you're unable to cancel your subscription... they cancel it for you in a way

they seem to be banning accounts using same CC details. I'm pretty sure these days they cross reference with CC and Address. So i'm betting your marks on 'your licence' will remain there.

theres a way to close your whole playonline account(the free part, which you have access to even after canceling your subscription), thus rendering your POL ID unable to login ever again
