Question, is there a JP site for their end game players that is as big as this one? Is it safe to say the biggest collection of end game players are from this forum?

The greatest freedom is -not- being listed by them. You'd have to adhere to a set of standards that would greatly restrict what people can do.

BG Forums are wonderful for their lack of adherence to political correctness, why would anyone wish it to be taken away just to have Square link the site?

They should add one more requirement to being a premier site, however.

They should require that the majority of the forum membership have actual endgame experience, and not complain that something is too hard or that the average player can't be expected to do this or that.

I rarely venture to alla, but last time I was there I saw a thread about the new sky port. The moment it was discovered and posted that you needed CoP nearly complete, half the thread will filled with people saying "fuck you SE" and complaining that CoP is too hard and that its impossible for most players to get Sea.

I mean, seriously... what do those guys do all day? Level 60 clothcraft synths in Jeuno on their AF WHMs and PLDs in social LSes?

I think 2ch have a section for FFXI, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

People are idiots before they begin playing the game and before they kill that big HNM. How much knowledge they have of the game just hides it.

It's sad that most ppl posting in that thread weren't even creative and original enough to come up with their own "use" for the guide instead of repeating the same canned responses. Everyone saying they used it for toilet paper, they must have some dirty asses cause glossed paper isn't going to get shit off you, the guide fails even for that use. People are sad, just sad.
