Funny thing about the whole Audrey situation:

I think they had completely decided to leave her out of this season. She said she did not want in because of "The Nine". But then that show was just TERRIBLE and she decided to come back. It is kinda funny to me, but I'm still happy because I love her.

All these other bitches Jack gets with are dumb asses, but Audrey is cool.

Randomly, while I know it's just a show, I found it odd that the Chinese decided to call Jack at the exact moment the nukes were secured, coincidence? Or is it possible the Chinese know a good deal about everything that's going on? The preview made it appear like there's a chance all the nukes and stuff could have been part of a bigger setup almost...

Keep in mind they always show the last two together, so only 6 weeks are left in the season.

One of the things I like best about the 24 writers is that they don't write the whole season all at once -- they don't actually finish writing and filming until March or April, for the finale in May. That way they can gauge how the show is doing and play it out from there.

They probably could have easily left Audrey dead, but the fact that she's alive makes it SO MUCH BETTER. I'm excited to see how the rest of this season plays out.

Now that I've had some time to reflect, some things are becoming more clear: it's obvious they did the "Audrey died" incident to see whether it was worth bringing her back. If everyone wanted to see Audrey back (and the actress agreed), they could play it off as a fake, or if the vice-versa, they could just leave it as-is.

I'm also really fkn glad they got rid of the bomb story (and quickly, too, rofl. Follow Feyd -> kill -> find/secure -> done). It got REALLY boring every episode being a wild goose chase to find "the remaining nukes." With the exception of the first four episodes, I thought the bomb thing took away from the "Jack & Co." feeling that 24 has become so successful from. They know that Season 6 hasn't been their best overall showing because of the way that Season 6 was based on, and how the people have reacted to it. It was more of a international-scale-crisis, instead of Jack vs dilemma. Personally, I loved the Jack vs dilemma story, and that's actually what builds our love for the characters. Now, we see the international-scale-crisis story dropped and it's Jack vs dilemma again (getting his love Audrey back).

Kudos to the writers for making these smart choices... people were starting to call the demise of 24. HELL NAH!

Honestly, I don't know why we even need a miltary anymore. We could save a ton of money w/ just Jack Bauer and a gun to solve all of our problems.

I was reminded a little bit last night of the ending to Season 1, where Jack goes apeshit on the bad guys after Nina lies and says that Kim was killed. Drives a van into the warehouse they were in, and proceeds to just one-by-one kill everyone in sight. Those kinda moments make the character to me, so I was really glad to see him in top-form again last night, even though realistically it would've been impossible to go from 2 years of captivity and torture to that kinda awesome within 24hours.

This show sucks. Could they possibly milk that cow any more? It's bone dry. Audrey kidnapped by the Chinese? Jack's gonna get to the Chinese, kill them all, then find out they were taking orders from the Russians, who he finds out were taking orders from the Iranians who he finds out is in fact headed by David Palmer, not dead, with a final showdown between him and Jack ending with David dead but Jack downed by his own daughter Kim who turned to terrorism after all Jack has put her through. Cue the next season.

I never understood how people could talk so angrily about a show on TV. A lot of us in this thread still enjoy watching 24, so why do you have to shit on that and treat us like idiots.
