I so wanted to see Jack in China on a rescue mission to be the whole central plot for season 7. Hope it doesn't take all of 7 episodes to clear, no more bomb/biological threat related plots prz

Erm, kinda, but Fayed was a bitch and knew where to hit Jack to inflict the most rapid/intense pain. I'm pretty sure Jack had a wound on his lower left side, along w/ the one on his upper left chest, which Fayed continually kicked/hit.

Getting your ass kicked and getting an open wound beaten are kinda different to me. Its like, if you have a broken left arm, and I go and hit your left arm as hard as I can, and then throw a punch at your face, its not exactly a fair fight.

I just loved the part where Jack has killed everyone but Fayed, realizes hes out of ammo, tosses the gun, and charges the cage.

yah i just wish he though his empty gun at fayed's face then charged in...but it was great nonetheless

But really, that was an amazing episode. Loads of interesting shit in that episode, then the end just topped off what was already a really awesome episode.

Was President Plamer basically permenently incapacitated? They were making it sound like he would be unable to resume the duties of the Presidency, indefinitely.

Kinda depressing, not a ton of action, but it was mostly setting up the next couple of episodes.

Definitely not as action-packed as last week's, but still good nonetheless. I definitely didn't see the President fainting at the press conference... I thought he was over that.

But again like I said last week... going back to old-school style 24. Jack abandons protocol and does shit on his own. All I know is that at the end of the season will be more action than Paris Hilton can handle, Chang will die, and Palmer/Audrey might. Might.

I'm still REALLY confused as to why they had Martha/Aaron/Logan in this season...

This is def. old-school Bauer coming up, which is always fun to watch. Martha/Aaron/Logan seemed like fan-service more than anything this season.

I really didn't expect Palmer to completely collapse again, when he started stuttering, I thought he was going to just look confused for a few seconds, and then get back on the ball, kinda keeping him credible but giving the Vice President some hesitation over resigning.

Really don't want another Palmer to die. Chang is going to get his ass handed to him, one way or another.

I feel dirty for saying this, but it's almost like 24 has jumped the shark. There's really nothing the show can do to top the start of this season without breaking into a full-scale WW3-type scenario, which would just plummet the show back into the hole it just crawled out of. In terms of just sticking to Jack and dealing with his day-to-day adventures, that's also quite exhausted. His family, love interests, friends, and work have all been used to death for random situations. There is absolutely no way the show can create a strong bond with a character in the future due to extremely high mortality rate it has, and it's quite obvious that without Jack, 24 isn't 24.

For the sake of the show's respect, end after S7, release the movie, and let the show go down in the record books as a fucking good series. Otherwise, I beg you, please PLEASE prove me wrong.
