i don't remember exactly which scenes but a couple of them felt like it wasn't in real time, like it jumped over some 10 minutes, like the events don't connect taking into consideration time you need to even walk/travel around the locations

or maybe it's just me >.>
24 has never really felt like absolute real time to me, just fairly close. Its always seemed impossible that Jack could be across town with a hostage, make a phone call, and have an entire swat team lead by him ready to swarm an enemy holdout within 10 minutes.

Lol, how did you miss the 2nd episode? Did you watch Heroes?
I refuse to watch 24 (or any show for that matter) with commercials, so I wait and download them. I just happened to search specifically for S06E08 and ended up just seeing that, completely missing the 09 Episode. Needless to say Im glad I came here, because that was seriously the best episode of the season, except maybe for the 4th.

I cannot wait to see what happens in the next coming weeks, whoever said that this is going to set up the rest of the season well is so right.
I am surprised Wayne Palmer has not been able to see this coming since the same thing happened to David at the end of Season 3 or 4, forget the number. And someone needs to bring Mike Novich back to start owning shit with Aaron Pierce.
And what the hell is gonna happen with Jack and his dad, he looked totally distraught and not sure what he is going to do.
OMG CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK.

EP 10 should be really good!

Maybe it's just me but I don't think Tom will really betray Wayne, his initial reaction shocked the hell outta me, makes me think he's playing the game to find out who's behind it, of course, this is 24 so who knows what's gonna happen...

Honestly who would be more shocked at Tom NOT betraying the President then him doing it?

Yea you may be right, I keep waiting for the huge 24 season plot switch, not sure if it happened yet, but you know it happens every season. I am kinda worried it might have been 2 weeks ago, when Phillip Bauer killed Graham. But I am holding out hope that there is going to be a bigger plot twist coming up. Like fucking Buchanan working with the Terrorists, or something wild like that.

Buchanan is treading thin ice already with his report altering, Karin was forced to quit because he did it before and he offered to do it to Jack (understandably). I just see someone trying to remove him from CTU director because of it...

actually even though i still see him as one of the smaller villains this season i actually like him a lot more than at first, i mean he's actually doing this because he believes this is for the good of his country rather than with some hidden personal agenda

Season 5 showed us how people who care about America too much are pretty dangerous people.

Logan was yes, and Graham too, but I reckon Christopher really did, I mean - when you go that far for your country it's only natural you wanna cover your own ass. No one is completely selfless, least of all in 24

This season is by far one of the best I was kind of disappointed after seeing Noris getting caught in such a retarded trap, cause it was so god damn classic... Also, the plot with Tom was kind of a big classic too... But Peter MacNicol (the actor, who also played in Ally McBeal) is awesome, he plays the character really well, and looks like he'll stand for Palmer. Hope we won't see a plot like in season 2 when Mike ploted with the Vice President against David Palmer to remove him from his office...

But the scene where Jack finds the bomb, walks very slowly to it, and try to disarm it, shaking and all...
    Really nice moment :D

I thought Tom's actor played him really well, he started off as that character you love to hate, then you gradually get to like him more because he seems less ego-retarded and more human...retarded?

meh, anyway, I can't wait for monday =\

This 'shouldn't' happen. Since Jack told him to leave the report as is.

    AND

Since Jack now knows it was his Father that killed Graham. It should work out just fine.

No he doesn't. The only one who knows at this moment, is Marilyn (Graem's wife) and she's about to get killed with Milo (probably not, but meh).

She's not getting killed w/ Mylo, they showed Jack in the previews for next week, coming in and saving the day. And then she told him that his father tried to kill him. It looked then that he was starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
