wow, i'd just follow my 5 step process for dealing with asshats like your LS leader.

1. Pull up your menu
2. scroll to "Linkshell", hit enter
3. highlight the linkshell that dragonlady is threatening to kick you from
4. hit enter on the Linkshell name, then select "drop" from the menu that pops up.
5. Be much happier you are gone. Find a linkshell that actually likes having you around.

Capped Exp on my RDM THF & DRG but sadly 19k into 75 on my SMN due to entertaining deaths which of course knocked my cap down as well.

I'm on Waf's side that you can never know what will happen when you're doing anything and I've been forced to HP on my THF more then once but getting the exp back to cap takes no effort at all. If you're crying about fucking de-leveling to 74 then just cap your damn level so you won't have to bug the shit out of people when you're dead or as Nystul said, stock up on RR items if you're so bent on keeping that level.

you know I wonder if when you cap xp on a job does the remaining xp from the kill go straight to merit or do you have to wait till next kill to start getting merit points?

Ex 300 xp points....150 needed to cap....does the remaining for stright to merit..or poof....Imagine if you died alot how many merits you might have lost over a long period of time to poof >.<.

I usually keep 10-15k xp buffer except when I accidently forget to change. think my max buffer on Rdm is still 30kish after 6 months

I stay in exp mode always, with very few exceptions (my BST still only has a 22k buffer, and it basically doesn't move either direction ever). But ENMs are the one thing where you have to watch out. Example: you die fighting Xolotl on the way to a Boneyard Gully ENM, or you die to get tractored for a Bearclaw Pinnacle ENM because you are lazy/missed the ledge. You had capped exp and are, as always, in exp mode. But now you get a few hundred exp instead of a few thousand limit points, and STILL only get worthless shitty drops. Fortunately, this has only gotten me once personally, and on the flipside, I have never fallen to 74.

As for raising LS people, even since getting 70+ WHM, I don't get many calls for it. Our LS heavily encourages the use of RR items during raids, and outside of them, I've had my offer to go out of my way to R3 someone turned down about as many times as it has been requested without me asking. The blame is definitely on the bufferless sod, not on any WHM.

Hell, I just made 75 for the first time last night. 2 1/2 hours later I had 17K+ worth of cushion, and that was with two PT's coming in and choking off the exp for the last half hour.

Take a break between using Windower to surf porn and meriting once in a while. Get that nice exp bar back up. It's not tough.

I have capped exp or close to on RDM WHM BLM BRD and I am so glad I spent one day capping RDM and WHM buffers by switching job in my pt everytime I capped. Was the best investment I could have done. BLM i solo'd capped on flans / in Sea over a few days and well lol brd capped in one exp pt. I now take R1s over and over again and use RR1 on BRD and BLM and I don't flinch. All it takes is 1hr exp or an ls event in Sky to recap. Its no big deal to get a R1 and I don't lose my merits or gear by delevelling to 74.

My SMN only got a 4k buffer when it hit 75 finally and is now at 32k buffer just from sitting in ulli room for 12hrs one day with 18 people >.> I've never exp'd it since I hit 75. Taking it to Beseiged, Sky or Sea gives plenty of exp and will cap it soon enough.

I cringe when I see people delevel in Dynamis cause I feel guilty and always make sure a R3 gets given to them. What a waste of WHM mp tho :/

I used to feel the same way. I've told some of my friends before that if they just worked on capping their levels, *BLMs I know seem to argue this more then anyone* they wouldn't de-level so much. Of course they say they don't care too much but then they are usually the 1st to beg for an R3 saying they are gonna de-level.

Double-standard more then anything but while I've died on some jobs before and if an R1 is the only thing that I can get then I'll take it instead of wasting other people's time waiting for something higher.

My old Limbus LS were prime examples of idiots who didnt bring RR items and refused R1's, I spammed R1 on them when they all died due to no stoneskin, and they all denied it wanting R3s. So we lost an omega due to people refusing it (when we had only 2 whms for 15 peeps) and it was the omega where I was the only person who needed a homam body if it dropped that day boo.

Sad thing is they always would win lot on homam, I lost lots on it all for about 5 months of limbus, and they all quit for some korean MMO on the new year and rmt'd their toons -_-

I'm more strict than that, I tell people they're not allowed to lot even if they delevel inside from their original level they entered - if they rise and are still 74, tough, that usually keeps buffers up.
